247Sports updated their basketball recruiting rankings this week and a couple of Indiana High School Basketball prospects were among the biggest risers in the entire country. There are now three Indiana prospects in the Top 100, five when you count the two guards from La Lumiere. Additionally, there are 11 in-state prospects listed as at least a three-star recruit with a 12th shown as a two-star. Let’s dive into the new 247Sports rankings specifically highlighting a couple of the major stock-risers in the class.

[player_tooltip player_id="868219" first="Xavier" last="Booker"] (Cathedral H.S. 2023)

It didn’t take a seasoned basketball scout to know that Booker was going to experience a massive run up the prospect rankings after his monster spring. However, I’m not sure anyone expected to see the 6’11" forward to catapult all the way to #4 overall. Now listed as a five-star prospect, Booker was one of the biggest stock-risers of anyone in the Class of 2023. Booker, who plays his AAU ball with George Hill All Indy, has officially visited Michigan State and also holds offers from the likes of Kansas, Michigan, Miami (FL), Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Ohio State, and Louisville just to name a few.

[player_tooltip player_id="949378" first="Aden" last="Holloway"] (La Lumiere 2023)

Holloway is a lightening quick 6’0" point guard now rated as the #43 overall prospect in the Class of 2023. The La Lumiere product officially visited Tennessee, where he holds an offer. Auburn, LSU, and Michigan are among the other high-major offers that he has gotten since the new year turned.

[player_tooltip player_id="939058" first="Jeremy" last="Fears"] (La Lumiere 2023)

Ranked just one spot behind his teammate at #44 overall in the class, Fears is an equally dynamic playmaker in the backcourt. He is explosive off of the dribble, can finish in a variety of ways around the basket, and can score from the perimeter consistently too. The future Michigan State Spartan is playing in Louisville this weekend for EYBL Session III with Indy Heat.

[player_tooltip player_id="1391463" first="Garwey" last="Dual"] (Carmel H.S. 2023)

Just a few months ago, even at the beginning of his junior high school season, this 6’5" wing was a relative unknown. He was playing some junior varsity minutes and on the fringes of the rotation at Carmel High School. However, as the season went on, it was difficult to keep him off the court. Fast forward to the spring with George Hill All Indy and Dual was one of the hottest prospects in the country. The elite athlete with ball handling skills and excellent defensive potential has earned recent scholarship offers TCU, Providence, Fresno State, and Arizona State. Dual is now ranked as the #73 prospect in the country.

[player_tooltip player_id="868229" first="Myles" last="J. Colvin"] (Heritage Christian 2023)

Colvin, a future Purdue Boilermaker, remained in the Top 100 coming coming it at #97 overall as a 4-star prospect. The 6’4" wing that can light it up from beyond the arc also has the athleticism to play above the rim at the end of his drives. Very projectable tools to the next level. He wraps up the Indiana prospects in the 247Sports Top 100.
