Here are 5 prospects who helped their stock over the weekend.
Rhett Erickson, Kings Basketball 323 2025: Erickson is a dependable knock down shooter. He showed his range in a one-point loss to South Arkansas Hoopsters 2025. Erickson connected on a three 3s in the loss, finishing the contest with 10 points. The 6-foot-0 guard does a solid job of running off hard curl screens, wearing down his defender, which made his shot attempts uncontested. Erickson is effective in pick-and-roll situations, as he’s able to either roll to the basket or knock down the 17-foot jumper. If the shot isn’t there, Erickson knows how to make the open pass.
Cooper Vaughan, Kings Basketball 323 2025: Vaughan was one of the smaller guards on the floor Sunday against South Arkansas Hoopsters 2025. He was what his needed to be in the contest: a floor general. He set up his fellow teammate, Rhett Erickson, for two of his 3s, along with taking care of the basketball. Vaughan is only 5-9 with a slim frame, but he was controlling the pace of the game, which is a plus. I’m not sure how his AAU season has went before last weekend, but Vaughan helped his stock as a prospect in the 2025 class that could fly under the radar.
Dujuan Haney, South Arkansas Hoopsters 2025: Haney is a 5-10 guard with a niche for scoring. He helped his stock a lot on Sunday by the way he attacks the rim. Haney, in spurts, showed his ability to make shots from 3-point range. He played with fire and a lot of energy. Haney’s ball handles are decent and will only improve if he continues to work. The potential is there.
Cayden Jones and Jordan Matthews, G4WYW 2025: This tandem worked well together in Sunday’s win over Life Changers 2025. Both made timely 3-pointers in the 10-point win. Consistent shooting on the wing is very important to any team’s success. Jones and Matthews showed promise of being two notable knockdown shooters in the 2025 class. Both proved one thing: They’re not afraid to let it fly.
