The Circuit came back to Arizona at the Phhacility in Phoenix/AZ for the Bash in the Desert.

I focused primarily on the 16U Division and wanted to bring light to as many players as possible. I did watch some 15U on Sat-Sun and 17U on Friday night.

Here were some of the top younger shooters who stood out when I viewed them:

[player_tooltip player_id="1241538" first="Kai" last="Hogan"] Brophy Prep (AZ Select 2025 Ernie)

A stronger scoring guard can shoot it with anyone in the class. He has picture perfect form and gets it off quickly. He is also tough inside to rebound and will block shots using his longer arms. He can score on put backs and showed his toughness all weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id="1351130" first="Amous" last="Price"] Mountain Pointe (AZ Firestorm 2025-1)

A 3 and D type of player. He is tough on the ball defensively and is a very aggressive player. He has a nice stroke from the three and is a confident guard. He can get into the lane with a decent handle and score through traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id="1446106" first="Jace" last="Olson"] Gilbert Christian (AZ Select 2025 Lee)

A sniper who already earned varsity minutes as a freshman showed his upside. He can catch and shoot to the three point line but also get passed his defenders with shot fakes and will score through contact with some toughness. He will rebound the ball and has some size in his family to possibly keep growing.

[player_tooltip player_id="1446109" first="Isaiah" last="Tippit"] Phhoenix Prep (AZ Select 2025 Ernie)

The younger brother of Steven is just as dynamic. He has a shifty tight handle and a strong build. He has deep range like his brother and will jet passed his defenders and drop off the dime. He drives and kicks it about as well as you can for an undersized guard.

[player_tooltip player_id="1446107" first="Dalton" last="Dunnett"] Millennium (AZ Firestorm 2025-1) (Pictured)

A versatile forward who brings a lot to the table. He can drive to the rim after a shot fake, rebound the ball inside, defend bigger players with his length and shoot it from deep. His shooting from the three point line sets up the rest of his offense. He hits one or two then the defense has to close out and he goes right by them. His toughness inside was an eye catcher since he is on the leaner side still.

[player_tooltip player_id="1446108" first="Jalen" last="Lucas-Reeves"] Chandler (Gremlins 2025-2)

A thicker wing forward can shoot it from mid to the 3pt line. He has a nice stroke and he comes with some toughness and length. He looks like he will still grow and he can be a nice piece to the puzzle for the Wolves.

[player_tooltip player_id="1446122" first="Josh" last="Baber"] Estrella Foothills (D1 Nation 2024)

A long and lean guard played a little on varsity his freshman season and looks to be a shooter who can play off of big 7-foot Noah when he gets doubled. He can fire away after he catches it plus do the one-dribble pull-up from mid-range. He has a good feel for the game and shows upside.

Charles Cobbs CG 5’10 2025 Chandler (AZ Gremlins 2025-2)

A fast combo guard can drive and kick it to a shooter and is quick on the ball defensively. He is a tenacious on-ball defender with quick hands and feet. He is a very good rebounder for his size and he can shoot it to the 3pt line.

Ryan Leggitt SG 6’0 2025 Chandler (AZ Gremlins 2025-2)

A dead-eye catch and shoot three point shooter. He has a sturdy frame and strength. He squares up like you should and fires away with a quick trigger. He gets hot in a blink of an eye and goes through stretches where he carries his team. He is very good rebounder for his size and is crafty to get to the rim using hesitations.
