Hugh Hargett 5’10 PG/SG 2023 Mars Hill
Hargett is an extremely crafty shot creator who generates quality offense consistently as a three-level scorer. Hargett is a serious threat in isolation with a complete bag of hesitation pull-ups, cross-overs, and step-backs. His explosive first step makes him hard to stay and front of, in addition to his creativity with counter moves. This, however is all set up by his ability to shoot at a 40% clip from deep. This is very impressive, considering most makes are coming off the dribble. When operating pick& rolls, he shows patience and nuance where he can get to his sweet spots and destroy the defense. Hargett also shows an uncanny ability to attack out of triple threat and get space from jab steps and counters. Pound for pound, Hargett is a top-tier scorer in the state.

Izzy Miles Izzy Miles 6'1" | CG Grissom | 2023 AL 6’2 SG/PG 2023 Grissom
Miles is a dynamic off-guard who can score at an elite level. His diverse skill set makes him one of the better scorers in the state. Miles is a knockdown shooter off the catch from deep and has one of the state’s better mid-range jumpers. With a smooth handle and underrated athleticism, he’s able to be a significant threat as a dribble penetrator, slasher, and a lob threat. In addition to his scoring prowess, he’s an excellent secondary ball-handler with his ability to get others involved when needed. Shows a competitive edge as a defender and takes on the challenge of guarding the best guy. He uses his athleticism to get weak side blocks, disrupt passing lanes, and stay in front of his man consistently.

Ja’leal White 2023 Robertsdale
White is a solid off-ball guard who can space the floor and be a perfect complimentary player to more ball-dominant players and playmakers. He’s comfortable off the catch and has a quick release that diminishes closeouts. Defensively he shows an ability to get into pass lanes and generate steals at a high rate- resulting in transition buckets for his team.
Ja’saveion Moore 5’10 PG 2023 Loachapoka
Moore is a combo guard who excels as a primary ball-handler and efficiently fluctuates between both guard spots. He shows a good balance in creating his shot and getting others involved. He uses his handle well to create space in the mid-range and attack the defense to set up finishes or drives and kicks. As playmaker, he shows he’s a willing passer. He makes the simple play but has enough vision to see plays develop ahead of time.
Jack Amos 5’10 PG 2023 Cherokee County
Amos is a score-first point guard that can carry a team offensively on any given night. His tremendous quickness and first step allow him to constantly be on the attack and be aggressive with his touches. Once he gets downhill, he looks like an all-state running back when attacking gaps and slicing through defenses. Amos’s signature step-back move creates space and has taken many ankles throughout the season. He displays a good jumper (with elite range) that forces defenses to respect it, opening up his dribble-drive abilities. He shows toughness when finishing through contact despite his lack of size and is crafty enough around the basket to navigate congested paint areas.
