The summer AAU season is a little under a month away as the spring circuit is in full swing. Prospects are looking to make an impact during the spring and summer seasons, especially in the 2024 class. Here are the 2024 prospects that could have a breakout summer.

Reggie Selden Jr., 6’1 PG Bishop Eustace

Selden Jr. has the opportunity to have a big summer with the Hilltoppers as he gets the opportunity to showcase his all-around skillset. The 6’1 guard has a good handle, which he uses to break his defender down off the bounce and finish around the basket. Selden Jr. is more than just a slasher as he can also get his teammates involved in the half court and knock down jumpers from behind the arc. He is a good on-ball defender as he slides his feet and is able to get deflections. Selden Jr. is a two-way guard who should have a strong summer AAU season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1407003" first="Tito" last="Majak"], 6’10 C Olympus Prep

Majak’s stock is already on the rise with his play in April and it should continue to go up in the summer. The 6’10 post runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy dunks and layups in transition. Majak is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and uses his length to alter shots around the basket. He is getting more confident with his offensive game as he can draw contact and finish in the paint. Majak is a lanky post prospect who should see his stock go up in a big way this summer with the NY Jayhawks.

[player_tooltip player_id="1153994" first="Michael" last="Van Raaphorst"], 6’3 SG Delbarton

Van Raaphorst has had a good spring with the Unity Legends and it should carry over into the summer. The 6’3 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he is a strong finisher and does not mind contact. Van Raaphorst has a nice release on his jumper and can make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. He moves exceptionally well off the ball and is a good rebounder for a guard. Van Raaphorst is a gritty guard prospect who should have a strong summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1273938" first="Johnny" last="Magner"], 6’4 SG Bridgewater-Raritan

Magner had a solid sophomore campaign for Bridgewater-Raritan and it should translate into a strong summer season with the Hoop Heaven Hawks Elite. The 6’4 guard has a good shooting stroke as he wastes little motion and rarely forces shots in the half court. Magner is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and finish around the basket. He does not make many mistakes with the ball in his hands and is an underrated defender. Magner’s ability to knock shots from behind the arc is something that will help his stock in a big way this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id="1273913" first="Jordan" last="Taylor"], 6’6 PF St. Peter’s Prep

Taylor has the potential for a breakout campaign for the NJ Panthers with his ability to affect the game down low. The 6’6 forward has a strong frame, which he uses to get position in the paint on both ends of the floor. Taylor has a nice touch around the basket and shows a nice release on his free throws. He is tough to keep off the glass and is an underrated interior defender. Taylor is a physical forward prospect who should have a good summer season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1050401" first="Andrew" last="Buck"], 6’2 SG Ranney

[player_tooltip player_id="1156892" first="Devyn" last="Wright-Myles"], 6’2 SG Trenton Catholic

[player_tooltip player_id="1153952" first="Eunique" last="Rink"], 6’8 C Payne Tech

[player_tooltip player_id="1273936" first="Daniel" last="Yarus"], 6’6 SF Spotswood

[player_tooltip player_id="1273930" first="Colin" last="Cavanaugh"], 5’10 PG Red Bank Catholic
