2023 Rankings Update: Intriguing Wings

<p>The class of 2023 has shown a deep class having good prospects for every college level. There are a lot of wings in this class here are some of the most intriguing players at their position.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="965781" first="Marzouq" last="Abdur-Razaaq"]- Overland</strong></p> <p>The 6’7 wing is someone who may not be the flashiest player on the court but more than gets the job done. With the ball in his hands, it is hard to fluster him, he plays at his own pace and uses his body and good footwork to outwork defenders. In the mid-range, Marzouq has a very smooth jump shot that he can hit off of the dribble, and from high to low post he has a smooth turnaround jumper. Down low, Marzouq uses his 6’7 frame to post up smaller wings. Defensively he shows a ton of potential to be a very good defender at the D1 level.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1159003" first="Alexander" last="Baldessari"]- Douglas County</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1159003" first="Alexander" last="Baldessari"] was a big glue guy this past year for Douglas County in their deep playoff run. The 6’4 wing battled down low defensively and used his stockier build to box out opposing players. On the other end of the floor, Alexander has a nice jump shot from both the mid-range and beyond the three-point arc. With the ball in his hands, he is patient, waiting for the best shot or a cutting teammate. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1285202" first="Quin" last="Galka"]- Broomfield</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1285202" first="Quin" last="Galka"] jumped on our radar with an impressive junior campaign at Broomfield. For a wing, he has great height at 6’5, and from beyond the three-point arc, he is someone with a quick trigger. With a hot hand, Quin is hard to stop, using a high release to shoot over defenders and hitting shots in big moments. </p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1285205" first="Master" last="Diggins"]- Faith Christian</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1285205" first="Master" last="Diggins"] is a crafty shooting guard with good height making him a tough match-up. The lefty has a good jumper and a very good hesitation that uses to get defenders in the air. With the ball in his hands Master a smooth, shifty handle, then a quick first step which allows him to get downhill. Master a good athlete who can finish above the rim.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1048510" first="Levi" last="O’Brien"]- Columbine</strong></p> <p>[player_tooltip player_id="1048510" first="Levi" last="O’Brien"] is a player who is looking like a late bloomer who has started playing more confidentially as recently. Levi is a lengthy wing who is good at spreading the floor. From beyond the three-point arc, Levi has consistent form and is confident shooting off of the catch. Defensively he uses his length to block shots and bother opposing players. He has become a very well-rounded player also contributing with rebounding the ball. </p>
