What new names did we add to our 2022 prospect rankings in Minnesota? Here are some names!

D'Marco Chelley of Tartan (6'0 guard). Chelley was Tartan's top backcourt offensive option as he scored 14 a game and helped the Titans continue their run as one of the better Class AAAA programs. Certainly a player that local schools should take a peak at.

[player_tooltip player_id="1448407" first="Ishmael" last="David"] of St. Paul Johnson (6'4 wing). David had an excellent all around season leading the Govs in just about everything as they earned another league title. Tough but athletic as well. Good rebounder for his spot and really helped teammates with good creations.

[player_tooltip player_id="1448409" first="Easton" last="Fritcher"] of Hayfield (6'1 forward). Last year this future Gopher baseball player was pound for pound the best rebounder in the state. With a center emerging, he became a double figure scorer, strong rebounder, excellent post to post passer, and a dependable all around player.

[player_tooltip player_id="1448403" first="Rob" last="Issa"] of Holy Angels (6'4 wing). Issa might be the best prospect on this list. He's an explosive wing that had some monster double-double games this year earning his way onto the Mr. Basketball top 50 list and a 19 point per game season. A player I am very interested in seeing what he becomes in the next couple years. A steal for any D3, NAIA, or junior college as he continues to emerge.

[player_tooltip player_id="1448408" first="Michael" last="Mitchell"] of Hastings (5'11 guard). Quickness is his thing. Mitchell used that quickness to be an excellent defender and he attacked the rim at the two to score 14/15 a game. Hastings didn't win many games this year so the name was a little quiet bit Michael has solid talent.

[player_tooltip player_id="1448405" first="Cooper" last="Nowak"] of Princeton (5'10 PG). The Tigers have won a ton of games with Nowak at lead guard. Cooper is a future college soccer player but he certainly could play college basketball as well. The Tigers were not a 1-2 punch, Nowak was a big part of that as well.

[player_tooltip player_id="1448406" first="Robert" last="Olson"] of Annandale (6'6 Power Forward). The frontcourt player on the state champ, Olson was an athletic finisher that did a great job rebounding and finishing off that excellent Cards ball movement. Olson physically has an edge on many in the state and he was a key part of why his team has gold.

[player_tooltip player_id="1288741" first="Jaedyn" last="Patterson"] of Richfield (6'3 guard). Patterson really emerged as a scorer this year putting up 17 points a game for the Spartans. One of the tougher players in the metro to keep in front when he attacked the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id="958658" first="Tyrell" last="Sappington"] of Hopkins (5'11 PG). I really liked the way that Sappington steadily ran the offense and sat down deep and defended with good feet and aggressive pressure. He was a top five scorer for the Royals but was also a solid defender and steady decision maker.

[player_tooltip player_id="1288752" first="Liban" last="Tushar"] of Minneapolis Edison (6'0 guard). The Edison squad has had a really nice run the last few years and Liban was a key piece of that scoring 20 points a game as a senior. Tough player to keep in front and if you moved with him Tushar had a nice touch over the top.
