<p> With the grassroots season now underway, Prep Hoops Missouri will be covering the top players around the state during the spring and summer. Here is a group of Class of 2023 players that are under the radar that I am looking forward to watch during the grassroots season.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1161295" first="Lucas" last="Lyons"] (Missouri Hawks): An impressive 6’7 forward from Lone Jack who is looking to turn some heads during the grassroots season.</p>
<p>Jay Baxter (ShoMe Assault): A 6’4 forward from Stockton who plays with a lot of activity as a scorer and rebounder around the basket.</p>
<p>Jay Ball (Missouri 66ers): A 6'6" forward from Thomas Jefferson who has a stout build at about 240 pounds. He was a Class 1 All-State selection after leading TJ to the state quarterfinals.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1383073" first="Anthony" last="Westervelt"] (Hardwood Academy): A 6’2 guard from Seckman who has explosive leaping ability and a big motor. He’s a strong slasher who can also defend.</p>
<p>Ethan Fauss (Arsenal Hoops): A 6’7 forward from Clayton who can stretch the floor with his 3-point shooting ability. He also delivers pinpoint passes from the high post.</p>
<p>Roman Phillips (Missouri Elite): A solid 6’8 forward from Atlanta who can score with both hands around the basket and block shots.</p>
<p>Ryder Blevins (All-Missouri Attack): A 6’2 wing from Forsyth who is one of the most impressive athletes in the SWMO area. He can slash and hit mid-range jumpers.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1269948" first="Maddux" last="Bristow"] (Mentality by Michael Watson): A 6’4 shooting guard from Truman who can shoot the 3-pointer and create off the dribble.</p>
