<p>Prep Hoops Missouri just released its Class of 2024 rankings this week. We continue our positional breakdowns with a look at the second group of point/combo guards in the class.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1162361" first="DJ" last="Long"] (Mexico): A 5’9 point guard with excellent quickness and a great burst to get to the basket. He also has 3-point shooting range. He helped the Bulldogs to a 28-1 record and a berth in the Class 4 quarterfinals.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1160835" first="Josh" last="Salinas"] (Lee’s Summit West): A solid 6’0 guard with good quickness and 3-point shooting range. Helped the Titans to a district championship. He averaged eight points, three rebounds and four assists.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1427981" first="Clayton" last="Jackson"] (Cardinal Ritter): A 6’0 guard who came in and did a solid job on the Lions’ Class 5 Final Four team. He averaged six points and three assists a game.</p>
<p>LeTaveion East (University Academy): A 6’0 guard who is tremendous with the dribble penetration and the ability to finish in the lane at a high rate. He averaged 12 points, four assists and two steals.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1160843" first="Caden" last="Casey"] (Park Hills Central): A 6’0 combo guard who played an excellent all-around game on a team that won a district championship. He averaged 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1160842" first="Quamareous" last="Farmer"] (Malden): A talented 6’0 guard in the SEMO area with excellent offensive ability. He passes the ball well and he can shoot it from 3-point range. He has a nice feel for the game.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1160841" first="Justin" last="Ray"] (Carthage): An athletic 6’0 guard who can score at all three levels while also dropping nice dimes. He averaged 8.5 points and 3.5 assists while shooting 42 percent from 3-point range.</p>
<p>[player_tooltip player_id="1269598" first="Jayden" last="Banks"] (MICDS): A quick 5’9 point guard who can harass opposing ball handlers with his on-ball pressure defense. He averaged six points and three assists on a district championship team.</p>
