Final Kansas Notes

[player_tooltip player_id="1190368" first="Sheldon" last="Butler-Lawson"], 6’3 Guard, SSA Elite 2023 Black: Versatile Point and Two guard who had a pretty solid weekend with the counting stats averaging, 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists per game. Has a unique blend of some length and low quick handle which allows him to create mismatches and put the defenders in tough spots. made some high level passes out to shooters or to guys diving for dunks as well. Solid rebounder and a really good on ball defender. Raising his scoring efficiency will help take his stock to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="1212149" first="Jace" last="Steinmetz"], 6’3 G, SSA Elite 2023 White: The big guard scorched the nets on the weekend going 14-24 from the 3 point line. Off the catch he is always shot ready and can get it off in a hurry and with his bigger size on the perimeter can shoot over closeouts and contests. Really strong and gets on balance with ease and doesn’t get knocked off spots easily. Had a really solid weekend scoring from the perimeter, rebounded it well and shot good shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="1270298" first="Josiah" last="Polynice"], 5’10 G, KC Spurs Silver 2024: The guard had a solid weekend with the Spurs. Very much the distributor, defender, and floor general we have seen from him early on. Really like this Spurs Silver group as a unit and think Polynice does a good job of getting that group rolling in his minutes.

[player_tooltip player_id="1378396" first="Matthew" last="Garber"], 6’1 G, SSA Elite 2023 White: Plays with a bunch of swagger and confidence on the court and it translates to some high level shot making from the perimeter. One of the best shooters in the Big 7 League in Kansas had himself a great start to the spring averaging over 13 points per game and shooting over 40% from 3. He is a microwave of a scorer and shooter and makes you have to guard him from way out from the rim.

Represent For My Home State: Florida Notes

Joseph Lezeau II, 6’6 W, Florida Suns 2023: The athletic wing is physical, quick, poised, strong, and efficient on the basketball court. Get’s into the painted area at will, can knock defenders off without fouling, finishes through and over guys, and has soft touch on runners and shots off the glass. Really solid in the isolation game and coming off ball screens. Has the tools to guard a wide variety of positions and rebounds it with the best of em. Really top tier prospect out of Florida.

[player_tooltip player_id="1176651" first="Jackson" last="Solide"], 6’3 G, Florida Suns 2023: A good sized guard who has a good feel for the game and is a shot maker from the perimeter. Relocates well once getting rid of the ball to find himself in open shot situations, is great off the catch knocking down the 3 ball when it comes from the post, and has the size and strength to be a solid college guard at multiple levels. Makes teams pay for going under screens, especially when he is off the bounce using a ball screen.

[player_tooltip player_id="1306129" first="Jaden" last="Baker"], 6’ G, Spartan Elite 2024 (Pictured): Is electric as they come in the back court and was nice seeing him operate live, as some of my old high school coaches from back in my time in Florida have told me about him. Really understands the game, gets to his spots off the bounce, is a big time shot maker, and is a gamer. Crafty finisher with either hand on either side of the rim. Really good player.
