Ryle Riddlesperger Ryle Riddlesperger 6'2" | PG Hugoton | 2023 State KS , 6’2 G, WKE 2023 (Pictured): The knockdown shooter had a big high school season and will be getting back on the hardwood in a couple of weeks with the grassroots squad. Look for the guards expanded overall game scoring off the bounce, creating for others, and playing in the painted area in attack mode that we saw towards the tail end of high school season. Caring that with his top notch shooting into the spring will be big.
Kellan Simoneau Kellan Simoneau 6'2" | PG Rose Hill | 2023 State KS , 6’1 PG, Buddy Buckets KS 2023: Put together an entire repertoire of offensive hoops in the opening weekend of hoops and maybe not a total surprise, but he continues to keep getting better and elevating his game. Can be relied upon to be a lead scoring guard or a player to get guys great shots as a floor general. His game popping on the court should surprise some college coaches looking for a top notch versatile 1/2 guard.
Karson Pihl Karson Pihl 5'11" | PG Smoky Valley | 2023 KS , 5’11 G, SSA Elite 2023 White: Has been a surprising player this high school season and kicking off the spring. Is a mound of energy, effort, and communication while on the floor making the jobs of his teammates that much easier. Get’s after a ton of loose balls, really understands help defense, and is always looking to make the most efficient play on the offensive end. Pihl could really catch some eyes with all of the intangibles he brings to the court.
Logan Sullivan, 6’2 SG, MoKan 2024: The surprise is he is on a fast track to be added to our rankings here on Prep Hoops for the next update for this 2024 class. Sullivan continues to look more and more aggressive from this past weekend like he did in the state tournament, complimenting his elite shooting ability with a solid slashing game and an aggressive jab/shot fake to get separation. The long arms are starting to come into play as he had a really good weekend on the defensive end as well in Indianapolis.
Eli Shetlar Eli Shetlar 6'4" | SG Andover | 2023 State KS , 6’6 SG, Run GMC 2023: The meteoric rise to a couple of Mid Major offers this weekend of Shetlar might be a surprise to some, but not here. Shetlar is one of the best shooters of the basketball in Kansas and has premier length on the perimeter. The first live weekend was massive for Shetlar and look for the momentum to continue to flow from here. An underrated passer and transition playmaker as well, Shetlar offers a ton to the basketball court.
