Previously known as JH1 Elite, MTXE Premier has a talented roster with some prospects that could develop into stars at the college level.

Let’s take a look at MTXE Premier’s 17U roster:

[player_tooltip player_id="981149" first="Braden" last="McGlothlin"] -- PG -- Catholic Memorial

I like everything about McGlothlin’s game. The 6-foot-3 point guard is a deadly shooter who opposing defenses can’t afford to leave open. He is also a very good passer that uses his court vision to find open teammates. With the live period approaching, I think that McGlothlin should catch the eye of a few college programs.

[player_tooltip player_id="963146" first="Logan" last="Arndt"] -- SG -- Oconomowoc

Arndt is a scrappy, skilled prospect that has seen his stock skyrocket in past AAU seasons. Now playing for MTXE Premier, the shooting guard out of Oconomowoc is once again poised to show coaches and scouts how good he is. Arndt is a great shooter, effective slasher, and tough defender. Expect Arndt to create a lot of headaches for opposing coaches this spring.

[player_tooltip player_id="981027" first="Bennett" last="McCormick"] -- SG -- Catholic Memorial

McCormick is a prospect that has gone under the radar a bit recently. But the shooting guard is extremely talented, and he should wake some people up this AAU season. McCormick is an incredible slasher that is able to drive to the rim and finish with ease. Look for the SG to become a big name in Wisconsin’s 2023 class this spring and summer

[player_tooltip player_id="953956" first="Luther" last="Smith"] -- SG -- Sussex Hamiliton

Smith is no-doubt one of the best shooters in Wisconsin. If left open, Smith is capable of draining long range shots like its nothing. The shooting guard is one of the most improved prospects in the state and I have been very impressed with how he has rounded out the rest of his game. Smith currently holds a Division One offer from Louisiana Monroe. If he continues to improve, the SG could catch the attention of other top college programs.

[player_tooltip player_id="981005" first="Danny" last="Staskunas"] -- PG -- West Allis Hale

Staskunas is a point guard that has recently become one of the better prospects in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. The West Allis Hale standout is a pass-first point guard that looks to get his teammates involved before worrying about his own scoring. Look for Staskunas to continue his upward trajectory while playing with MTXE Premier.

[player_tooltip player_id="1021594" first="Antwan" last="Burns-Jones"] -- SG -- Catholic Memorial

I think that Burns-Jones could be a big-time x-factor for MTXE Premier this spring and summer. The shooting guard is a deadly shooter from behind the arc and also capable of draining mid-range jumpers. On defense, Burns-Jones has quick hands, which he is able to use to create turnovers and wreak havoc.

[player_tooltip player_id="981022" first="Jacob" last="Dunham"] -- SG -- South Milwaukee

Dunhan is one of the biggest sleeper prospects in Wisconsin’s 2023 class. A true scorer with the ability to get buckets from all three levels, when Dunham gets to his spots, he is almost unstoppable. Using the dribble, the SG is able to get to the rim and finish through or around contact.

Other prospects to watch:

Ray Maurchie -- F -- Winnebago

Seeraj Suleiman -- G -- West Allis Hale

Ben Goedheer -- F -- Catholic Memorial
