<p><strong>Tarrant County’s Senior All-Star game presented by Hoop Junkie was filled with some of the best senior prospects from the Fort Worth metroplex. On this weekend, the top ballers competed in the 3-Point Shootout, the Dunk Contest, and the highly anticipated All-Star Game. The top unsigned seniors in the city were given a chance to showcase their remarkable skill sets one final time before moving on to bigger and better things. Here we recap and break down the Team North’s Standout All-Stars. </strong></p>

<p><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">This young man is worth a watch, Jones-Evans is full of raw untapped potential, a very high ceiling prospect with an even higher basketball IQ and a great feel for the game. He’s also a fantastic jump shooter that can also play above the rim and utilize his length to defend. DaMarea Jones-Evans plays with miniscule limitations to his game and t</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">he more assertive he becomes the more troublesome he’ll be on the court. </span></p>

<p><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Elite versatility, one of the most multifaceted prospects of the senior class. 6-foot-10-inch Arop Arop is a rare breed, someone that can score out of all 5 positions as well as defend each position effectively. Arop showcased t</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">errific ball-handling, a fluid jumper, good hops </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">and a long reach to make standing dunks off of two feet</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> under the basket in traffic. </span></p>

<p><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Just as expected, this playmaker put on a show, [player_tooltip player_id="889581" first="Jourdyn" last="Grandberry"] was able to create off the dribble for everyone at any given moment using his next-level ball skills and footwork, breaking ankles with smooth crossovers and stepbacks. </span></p>

<p><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">All-around ballplayer, [player_tooltip player_id="1204025" first="Marlon" last="Carrington"]’s first step was the quickest of them all, way to explosive for Team South defenders to contain or keep out beyond the perimeter, this man got to the rack at will. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">After Carrington saw the ball go through the net a few times his confidence rose higher than ever and he began to let it fly from as deep as the center court logo, hitting nothing but the bottom of the net. </span></p>

<p><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Birdville superstar, [player_tooltip player_id="958897" first="Chase" last="Henderson"] got Team South back in the game with his heroics before stealing the lead for the first time after drilling back-to-back three-pointers from the top of the key and the deep corner. Killer speed, Henderson was the f</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">astest player on the court, getting baseline to baseline before any other player made it up the court. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">His creativity off the dribble drew attention from the defense leaving teammates open to cut to the basket. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">With 8 seconds remaining in regulation, down by 1 point, Team North’s coach called a timeout and drew up a quick give and go play for [player_tooltip player_id="958897" first="Chase" last="Henderson"] to inbound the ball into his teammate while cutting to the basket looking for ball back, once he received it Henderson took his two steps and converted the layup while being knocked down to the floor, winning the game for Team South in spectacular fashion. </span></p>

<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="958566" first="Daniel" last="Sykes"] | Point Guard | BIrdville HS </strong></em></p>
<p><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">[player_tooltip player_id="958566" first="Daniel" last="Sykes"] proved to be an ultra competitive defender that didn’t care that this was an All-Star showcase, he still put his best defense forward and forced most guards to over dribble before he ripped them clean took it the other way. </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">Quick active and sticky hands, even when it seemed like he was beat Sykes was able to recover in a hurry and come up from behind for a steal or a block. </span></p>

<p><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">[player_tooltip player_id="1204098" first="Jamison" last="Bosch"] came off the bench 10 minutes into the game and nailed his very first shot attempt from the left wing off the catch, Bosch looked very comfortable shooting the ball whenever he was allowed to just spot up and go into his shooting motion. This Hardin-Simmons University signee is </span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">6’7 with catch-and-shoot specialist written all over him.</span></p>

<p><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">The Brewer standout looked to get his buckets out of corners right away, either shooting the three-ball or attacking the close out and scoring inside. Williams s</span><span data-tt="{"paragraphStyle":{"alignment":4,"writingDirection":1}}">howed flashes of turning into a pure jump shooter at times, B.J. knocked it down while creating his own shot and while playing off the ball and spotting up. </span></p>
