Grit Region: AAU Team Preview- Full Package

IProgram Overview

The Full Package AAU program is a suburban Chicago based outfit with multiple teams on the Prep Hoops Circuit. They field at least three teams in the 15U-17U age divisions. They will be participating in the Grit Region this year.

Due to the volume of players they field amongst their teams. We’ll look at 10 players within the three age divisions. They are a well coached and competitive program. They acquitted themselves well at The Stage in Indianapolis and they will be at Chi-Town Tip Off this upcoming weekend.

College coaches and fans in general will want to make a point to catch this program. 

2023 Key Players 

Jake Fiegen Jake Fiegen 6'3" | SG New Trier | 2023 State IL 6-3 New Trier One of the better shooters in the Midwest. Also competes hard defensively and has the ability to play the point when needed. 

Rokas Castillo Rokas Castillo 5'11" | PG Lemont | 2023 State IL 5-11 Lemont  and Matas Castillo Matas Castillo 5'11" | PG Lemont | 2023 State IL 5-11 Lemont Twin brothers who share point guard duties. Lanky builds help them play larger than their listed size. 

Nikola Abusara Nikola Abusara 6'5" | SF Benet | 2023 State IL 6-5 Benet Long versatile wing plays multiple position has a lot intangibles. Explosive athlete who can make plays well above the rim. 

Mark Nikolich-Wilson Mark Nikolich-Wilson 6'7" | C Rolling Meadows | 2023 State IL 6-7 Rolling Meadows Old school post with a Jokic like game. Passes well out of the high post. Bulky frame makes him difficult to move when he establishes position. 

2024 Key Players

Bryce Smith 6-5 Carmel Catholic Do-it-all forward. Has excellent size already for the three position. Could be special if continues to grow and improve his game. 

Grantas Sakenis 6-8 Victor J Andrew HS Post prospect with eye opening size. Has a soft touch around the basket. 

Ethan Dabu Ethan Dabu 5'10" | PG Loyola Academy | 2024 IL 5-9 Loyola Academy Small but heady point guard. Excellent look ahead passer who competes hard defensively. 

2025 Key Players 

Colby Smith Colby Smith 6'3" | PG New Trier | 2025 State IL 6-2 New Trier Very talented young player. Trending towards being one of the better Illinois players in his class. 

Vincas Buzelis Vincas Buzelis 6'3" | SF Hinsdale Central | 2025 KS 6-3 Hinsdale Central Tough and physical forward prospect. Shoots it very well already.
