Class 3A WPIAL Section 4 – Dazzlin’ Dozen Performers

<p>We conclude our Class 3A, all-section teams from the four conferences in the WPIAL. At Prep Hoops PA our time was spent focusing on providing quality selections of players deserving of a standout high school basketball season. Below we touch on twelve young men that rose to the occasion this winter to lead their teams on the hardwood.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>WPIAL CLASS 3A - SECTION 4</strong></span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>DAZZLIN’ DOZEN:</strong></span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Tayshawn Levy - Point Guard - Senior - Washington High School - He can be a difference-maker throughout four quarters of a game with his competitive side and balanced skillset. This season was a big jump for Tayshawn to become a leader on the floor for his team. [player_tooltip player_id="991248" first="Brandon" last="Patterson"] - Wing Forward - Senior - Washington High School - A strong, athletic wing with the overall talent to take over game situations and command his team. Brandon was an excellent "coach on the court" for the Wash High Little Prexies. [player_tooltip player_id="991254" first="Will" last="Wagner"] - Combo Guard - Senior - Charleroi High School - This prolific scorer put up huge points throughout the high school season and made a name for himself in the WPIAL. Will can "fill up" the stat sheet and has the ability to score from anywhere on the court. Chase Henkins - Wing Forward - Waynesburg Central High School - With his increased size over the last few seasons Chase developed into a "go-to-guy" for his squad this winter. He created opportunities not only for himself but his teammates consistently in each contest. [player_tooltip player_id="1395939" first="Carter" last="Betz"] - Point Guard - Senior - Brentwood High School - A skilled shooter and top-notch ball handler who also possesses above-average passing skills to showcase a complete guard arsenal. Carter was able to prove his leadership qualities in some big games this high school season. Colby Kuhns - Point Guard - Senior - Beth Center High School - He is a talented point guard with excellent court vision. Colby took a major step in becoming a solid player.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Jake Caruso - Shooting Guard - Senior - Charleroi High School - A above-average free throw shooter for his team. Also, Jake can create opportunities for Charleroi HS while still finding his chances to score in the lane and on the break. Nathan Ziegler - Combo Guard - Senior - Brentwood High School - He is a deadly combination when paired with his partner in crime Carter Beta. Together Nathan and his cohort lead their talented ball club in points, assists, and steals making them a terrific one-two punch. Davoun Fuse - Wing Forward - Junior - Washington High School - Davoun rebounds well on both ends of the floor and makes quality and-1 finishes. Look for him to explode on the scene this AAU season. [player_tooltip player_id="1395940" first="Elijah" last="Brown"] - Shooting Guard - Junior - Brownsville High School - This quick, athletic player likes to push the ball in transition. Also, Elijah brings energy and toughness to the court every night. Grayson Wallace - Sophomore - Wing Forward - McGuffey High School - His skill on the defensive end of the floor protects the rim for his team. Look for Grayson to develop a solid offensive skill set this summer in preparation for the next high school season. Chance Zapotoczny - Point Guard - Senior - Brownsviille High School - Chance is a shifty, slick point guard with excellent handles in the backcourt.
