The Prep Hoops Circuit Chi-Town Tip-Off is officially wrapped up. As usual, our staff will continue pumping out content over the next few days so be on the lookout for more notebooks, top performers, GameChangers, and All-Tournament teams. For now, let’s take a quick look at some of the prospects that stood out for their play on Sunday.

[player_tooltip player_id="1385283" first="Aleks" last="Alston"] (Kenwood Academy 2025/Mac Irvin Fire 2025 EYBL): When scouts talk about a prospect having upside, the 6’7" Alston is essentially the personification of that. He is an excellent player right now, but his overall skill set at his size sets the sky as the limit for the type of player he can become.

[player_tooltip player_id="1295644" first="Treshawn" last="Blissett"] (Waubonsie Valley H.S. 2024/M14 Hoops 2024 Adidas Gold): M14 Hoops had a tough one on Sunday against Mac Irvin Fire, but Blissett was a bright spot in the defeat. He is an athletic 6’3" wing that can really shoot the basketball. Nice prospect to follow.

Drew Clarke (St. Charles East H.S. 2023/M14 Hoops 2023-2): Clarke lit it up from beyond the arc on Sunday afternoon. The 5’11" guard has "in the gym" type of range meaning he can score it from well beyond the three-point line. Excellent shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id="1432254" first="Jack" last="Dabbs"] (Stevenson H.S. 2024/All in Athletics 2024 Adidas Gold): This prospect out of Stevenson High School playing for All in Athletics impressed with his size on the wing and offensive skill set. At 6’5" he can punish smaller defenders while also possessing the ball skill to handle it on the perimeter and create his own shot.

[player_tooltip player_id="1118821" first="John" last="McCrear"] (Wooford County H.S. 2023/Mac Irvin Fire 2023 EYBL): McCrear did a little bit of everything on Sunday afternoon in a two-point win over Team GRIII Elite. The 6’8" forward blocked several shots, dominated the offensive glass, hit a corner three, and finished above the rim. His athleticism, length, and motor will be what get college coach’s attention during this next live period.

[player_tooltip player_id="1088829" first="Jayden" last="Miles"] (Western H.S. 2025/Mac Irvin Fire 2024 EYBL): With a reclassification to the Class of 2025 on the table, the 6’8" Miles becomes an even more intriguing prospect than he was already. On Sunday he was hitting the offensive glass hard and had some impressive two-hand dunks inside through traffic. Very mobile forward that is excellent in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id="814532" first="Brandon" last="Trilli"] (Munster H.S. 2023/Team GRIII 2023 Elite): Team GRIII Elite fell by two points to Mac Irvin Fire, but the 6’5" Trilli more than held his own against top level competition. His athleticism and ball skill still made an impact even against the size and athleticism of some 4 and 5-star prospects. This next live period will be massive for the Munster wing.

[player_tooltip player_id="1210394" first="KJ" last="Vasser"] (Yorkville Christian H.S. 2022/All in Athletics 2023 Adidas Gold): An unsigned senior playing with All in Athletics, Vasser shot the ball extremely well on Sunday afternoon. He can make threes off of the dribble and create his own shot on the way to the basket as well. One of the better available guards in the midwest for the class of 2022.
