With the Prep Hoops Circuit Chi-Town Tip-Off officially in the rearview mirror it means that it is time for All-Tournament teams. After consulting with our team of regional scouts, as well as other media members at the event, we are ready to release our Grit Region First, Second, and Third team honors. Let’s dive on in!

First Team

[player_tooltip player_id="1172894" first="Tre" last="Dowdell"] (Brother Rice H.S. 2024/Team Ten Jabari Park 2024): A strong, athletic guard, Dowdell ran the show for Team Ten Jabari Parker over the weekend. He is really good off of the bounce getting to the basket and showed off a consistent jump shot.

[player_tooltip player_id="1285486" first="Tristan" last="Ford"] (Boylan Catholic H.S. 2024/Team Rose 2024 3SSB): Long, left guard that can really shoot it. Ford hit some really tough step back threes in each game that I saw. His quickness allows him to create separation and get his own shot whenever he wants. Very talented scoring guard.

[player_tooltip player_id="1157223" first="Nojus" last="Indrusaitis"] (Lemont H.S. 2024/Meanstreets 2024 EYBL): One of the more polished wings at the Chi-Town Tip-Off, this 6'4" shooting guard showed why he is a highly sought after player coming out of the state of Illinois. Has good size, shoots it very well, and can finish above the rim at the end of his drives.

[player_tooltip player_id="1157230" first="Morez" last="Johnson"] (St. Rita H.S. 2024/Meanstreets 2024 EYBL): Committed to play for the home state Illinois Fighting Illini, this 6'8" 4-star forward had a highly productive weekend. Johnson has the length to protect the rim, the mobility to rebound outside of his area, and the skill to score it in a variety of ways. High-level prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id="1157226" first="Josh" last="Pickett"] (West Aurora H.S. 2024/Mac Irvin Fire 2024 EYBL): There might not have been a more impressive prospect at the Chi-Town Tip-Off than the 6'5" guard. Pickett is an elite shooter, handles the ball well, and is very athletic on both ends of the floor. He could blow up during the upcoming live period and see many more offers roll in.

Second Team

[player_tooltip player_id="1157205" first="Dekwon" last="Brown"] (Limestone H.S. 2024/Mac Irvin Fire 2024-2): I didn't get a chance to see much at all of Brown this weekend, but several Prep Hoops scouts made it a point to mention how good he was. A dynamic playmaker off of the dribble with a smooth jump shot, it is easy to see why Division I programs are already hot in pursuit of the Limestone guard.

[player_tooltip player_id="1432254" first="Jack" last="Dabbs"] (Stevenson H.S. 2024/All in Athletics 2024 Adidas Gold): Dabbs is an athletic, physical 6'5" wing that had some very impressive performances at the Chi-Town Tip-Off. He was the best player in a win over Mac Irvin Fire that caught the attention of everyone at the event. Definitely an intriguing prospect to follow.

[player_tooltip player_id="1157224" first="Mike" last="Jones"] (Auburn H.S. 2024/Team Rose 2024 3SSB): If you are looking for physical gifts, Jones has all of them. He is a 6'6" wing with a strong frame and elite athleticism. You aren't going to stop Jones in transition or when he gets headed downhill to the rim. Versatile defender and excellent rebounder. It was clear why he is a Top 10 Class of 2024 prospect in Illinois.

[player_tooltip player_id="1372075" first="James" last="Phillips Jr"]. (Grosse Pointe North H.S. 2024/Detroit Bulldogs 2023): While playing up a year with the 17u teams, Phillips Jr. more than held his own. He is quick with the ball, a very good on-ball defender, and showed his ability to score off the bounce as well. Nice intermediate range scorer with a variety of finishes.

[player_tooltip player_id="1285487" first="Calvin" last="Robins Jr"]. (Kenwood Academy 2024/Mac Irvin Fire 2024 EYBL): Robins Jr. lived above the rim all weekend long. This strong, physical 6'5" wing/forward had monster dunk after monster dunk throughout the event. His physical gifts and constant motor make him a high-upside prospect that will continue to garner more attention heading into the live period.

Third Team

[player_tooltip player_id="1373456" first="Cole" last="Arl"] (Naperville North H.S. 2024/My Journey 2024)

[player_tooltip player_id="1295644" first="Treshawn" last="Blissett"] (Waubonsie Valley H.S. 2024/M14 Hoops 2024 Adidas Gold)

[player_tooltip player_id="1285479" first="Isaiah" last="Green"] (Hillcrest H.S. 2024/Meanstreets 2024 EYBL)

[player_tooltip player_id="1284852" first="Chris" last="Riddle"] (Arizona Compass Prep 2024/Mac Irvin Fire 2024 EYBL)

Jaylen Taylor (Thornton Fractional South H.S. 2024/Clippers Nation Elite 2024)
