Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #15
After watching his performance in the state playoffs, he had to move up. Brown turned heads with his willingness to take big shots and his ability to bury them.
Michael Sulaka Michael Sulaka 6'8" | C Warren De La Salle | 2023 State MI (C, Warren De La Salle)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #20
Sulaka might not be done moving up. He really started to fulfill a lot of that potential that we all saw early in his high school career. Continuing to add strength and refining his offensive game will do wonders for this rising star.

Welcome to The Hutch Ward Hutch Ward 6'8" | PF Kalamazoo Central | 2023 State MI Explosion. It began in the state playoffs, where it looked like something clicked. He’s an elite shooter from behind the arc as well as an athletic and strong finisher at the rim.
Tae Boyd Tae Boyd 6'3" | SF Grand Blanc | 2023 State MI (SF, Grand Blanc)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #43
Boyd saw his stock take off during the high school season. He was electric in the open floor where he and star point guard RJ Taylor RJ Taylor 6'0" | PG Grand Blanc | 2023 State #262 Nation MI seemed to really click. Boyd turned a lot of heads and saw his stock rise quickly.
Trenton Boike Trenton Boike 5'10" | PG Genesee Christian | 2023 State MI (PG, Genesee Christian)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #49
Boike was one of the biggest risers in the class when it comes to numbers. Quite simply, he’s one of the best shooters in the state and has shown the ability to take over and control a game with his jumper.
Jordan Scott Jordan Scott 6'3" | PG Plymouth Christian | 2023 State MI (PG, Plymouth Christian)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #55
Scott’s rise up the rankings probably isn’t done. He has good positional size and strength and he understands how to lead a team. Scott can both score and distribute at a high level.
Kenneth Morrast Jr. (CG, Ecorse)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #77
Morrast Jr. was a huge part of Ecorse’s emergence as a powerhouse team. He showed the ability to successfully play multiple roles on his team, basically willing and able to do whatever was needed to get W’s.
Bryce Kurncz Bryce Kurncz 6'2" | SF DeWitt | 2023 State MI (SF, DeWitt)
Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking: #97
After seeing his game during high school season, Kurnz had to move up. He thrived as a go to scorer that could get buckets from multiple spots on the floor.
