C/O 2023 Rankings Update: Stock Risers

<p>Prep Hoops Michigan has updated it’s class of 2023 prospect rankings. Every update features some players that have seen their stock rise. This can come in terms of ranking numbers and otherwise. Let’s look at some players from the new rankings that could be called "stock risers".</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="987270" first="Kaden" last="Brown"] (PG, Grand Rapids Catholic Central)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #15</p> <p>After watching his performance in the state playoffs, he had to move up. Brown turned heads with his willingness to take big shots and his ability to bury them.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="986902" first="Michael" last="Sulaka"] (C, Warren De La Salle)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #20</p> <p>Sulaka might not be done moving up. He really started to fulfill a lot of that potential that we all saw early in his high school career. Continuing to add strength and refining his offensive game will do wonders for this rising star.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1077679" first="Hutch" last="Ward"] (PF, Kalamazoo Central)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #40</p> <p>Welcome to The [player_tooltip player_id="1077679" first="Hutch" last="Ward"] Explosion. It began in the state playoffs, where it looked like something clicked. He’s an elite shooter from behind the arc as well as an athletic and strong finisher at the rim.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1212739" first="Tae" last="Boyd"] (SF, Grand Blanc)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #43</p> <p>Boyd saw his stock take off during the high school season. He was electric in the open floor where he and star point guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="985658" first="RJ" last="Taylor"] </strong>seemed to really click. Boyd turned a lot of heads and saw his stock rise quickly.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1170692" first="Trenton" last="Boike"] (PG, Genesee Christian)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #49</p> <p>Boike was one of the biggest risers in the class when it comes to numbers. Quite simply, he’s one of the best shooters in the state and has shown the ability to take over and control a game with his jumper.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1352915" first="Jordan" last="Scott"] (PG, Plymouth Christian)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #55</p> <p>Scott’s rise up the rankings probably isn’t done. He has good positional size and strength and he understands how to lead a team. Scott can both score and distribute at a high level.</p> <p><strong>Kenneth Morrast Jr. (CG, Ecorse)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #77</p> <p>Morrast Jr. was a huge part of Ecorse’s emergence as a powerhouse team. He showed the ability to successfully play multiple roles on his team, basically willing and able to do whatever was needed to get W’s.</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1352957" first="Bryce" last="Kurncz"] (SF, DeWitt)</strong></p> <p>Prep Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #97</p> <p>After seeing his game during high school season, Kurnz had to move up.
