6-6 F Wesley Isoje – XXII Premier – Peachtree Ridge
Isoje caught my eye right away with his frame. He’s lean athlete with posture in the paint. Wesley is quick off his feet and plays above the rim routinely. He soars in for rebounds and is a threat for putback slams. Isoje moves well. He had an impressive sequence, getting into a passing lane for a steal and going coast-to-coast, finishing with a eurostep in traffic. Speaking of traffic, Isoje does a nice job finishing through contact. He has the athletic tools and skill set to play at the next level. He could be major get for smaller schools.
6-5 F Andrew Makinde – XXII Premier – Peachtree Ridge
Andrew Makinde is a big bodied post that can bang defensively and compete on the backboard. He did a nice job protecting the rim, blocking shots without fouling. The sturdy post has a soft touch as well. He drilled a pair of threes. Andrew sets up with a wide base and has a high release.
6-2 G Bilal Djibo – XXII Premier – Peachtree Ridge
The southpaw hit a pair of threes, getting to his step-back jumper on the perimeter. Bilal looked good as a playmaker in a 62-58 win. He was able to impact the game in a variety of ways with his rebounding and switchability on defense. He blocked a handful of shots and got a few steals but it was his vision that really impressed. Djibo made good reads in transition and was able to dish out 5 assists.
6-2 G Jordan Emory – Georgia Bison – SACA
Emory has quality size and athleticism at the guard spot. He played off the ball on Saturday, but has the ability to handle the rock himself. He provides steady energy on both ends of the floor. He’s a consistent defender with quick hands. Emory uses his athleticism to get on the glass. With the ball in his hands, Jordan looks to slash to the basket.
6-7 F Osiris Shabazz – TSF Elite – Brookwood
Long and strong, Osiris Shabazz is a quick-footed forward that can attack from the perimeter and on the low block. He is effective in the high post, able to turn and face to make a swift move. Shabazz crashes the glass hard and has the strength to score putbacks in a crowd. Thanks to his mobility, he is a competent defender in pick-and-rolls and can switch onto guards when needed.
