Atlanta Jam: Top Guards Pt. 2

2023 6-1 PG [player_tooltip player_id="820290" first="Keishawn" last="Hampton"] – Norcross Heat – Meadowcreek
The free throw line was good to Keishawn going 6-6 from the stripe as he finished with 15 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Hampton loves attacking the middle of the defense and getting his defender on his hip before pulling up from the mid-range. He is a confident shooter that has no issue hunting his shot.

2024 5-8 PG Victor Julio – SBT 2023 – Furtah Prep
Undersized and underaged playing up in 17U, Victor Julio has a nice feel for the game. He’s a solid table setter that knows what he wants to do with the ball in his hands. Julio is a pass-first playmaker that is a responsible ball handler. He didn’t score in a loss to GCPC Stars, but he did create offense finishing with 3 rebounds, 8 assists and 3 steals.

2023 6-0 G Seth Means – Game Certified Elite – Archer
With a large 2022 class out the door, Seth Means will have plenty of opportunities to show what he can do with a larger role forthcoming at Archer. Means is a good shooter. He cashed in three threes against Inspire Atlanta, scored on two drives and converted on a cut to the hoop to finish with 15 points. Means is a solid on-ball defender and is getting better as a playmaker.

2023 6-2 G [player_tooltip player_id="1284669" first="Blake" last="Wilson"] – PSB Atlanta – St. Pius X
The elite academic guard has enviable size on the perimeter. He can get to his spots and shoot over smaller defenders. Wilson fills it up from deep when his feet are set and is crafty downhill with pull-ups and floaters. He has good footwork on offense and is drawing attention from multiple levels.

2023 5-10 G [player_tooltip player_id="1231778" first="Jackson" last="Sousa"] – BCB Black – Dacula
Sousa is a sharpshooter with a quick trigger. He torches defenses when left open from deep. When defenders over aggressively pursue him, he can make a quick move and get to the basket with a tear drop floater.
