To cap off a weekend full of games at Pitt’s Petersen Events Center, Fox Chapel and North Hills faced off in a highly anticipated 6A title game.

The Foxes gook down North Hills in a battle that went all the way down to the end of the fourth quarter.

Check out some of the top all-around performers from the matchup.

JP Dockey - 6’1" G - Fox Chapel

Dockey played all 32 minutes in the victory, scoring a team-high 10 points on an efficient 5-for-8 shooting. Made multiple hustle plays and was one of the top defenders regardless of class of the weekend. Used his long arms to intercept passing lanes and pickpocket defenders, had a game-high 3 steals. While star [player_tooltip player_id="991215" first="Eli" last="Yofan"] was struggling, Dockey stepped up and took it upon himself to turn defense into offense.

Colin Kwiatkowski - 6’5" F - Fox Chapel

Kwiatkowski slammed home a dagger of a dunk as time was winding down to put an exclamation point on the win for FC. He played a huge role for the Foxes all night inside, playing fearless defense against highly-touted forward [player_tooltip player_id="1173989" first="Royce" last="Parham"] and crashing the offensive boards. Met Parham at the rim and rejected his shot in a valiant effort. Also stepped out and showed off a smooth mid-range jumper. Hit 3 of his 7 field goal attempts for 8 points in the win.

Russell Fenton - 6’2" G - Fox Chapel

Fenton spent some time down low guarding the much taller Parham, but used his strong base and heart to find a way to give him trouble. Super tough guard who is an excellent cutter. It wasn’t that he was in the right place at the right time. Always had a purpose behind his cuts and his off-ball movement, which allowed him to score 8 points on 4-for-6 shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id="991215" first="Eli" last="Yofan"] - 6’3" G - Fox Chapel

Yofan, the school’s all-time leading scorer, struggled early, scoring just two points in the first three quarters. However, he turned it on when it mattered most, carrying the Foxes to a championship victory. In the last quarter of a low-scoring affair, he hit a massive three pointer to take the lead, drew a charge on the other end, and blocked a shot the next time down for North Hills. Finished with eight points and hit five of his eight free throws. Super competitive.

[player_tooltip player_id="991262" first="Devin" last="Burgess"] - 6’4" F - North Hills

Burgess hit four of his eight field-goal attempts in the loss. He showed off quick feet, solid athleticism, and strong driving ability. In addition to multiple buckets in the lane, he also stepped out and hit a three with a good-looking stroke. Finished with a game-high 13 points and knocked down all four of his free-throw attempts.

[player_tooltip player_id="1173989" first="Royce" last="Parham"] - 6’7" F - North Hills

One of the top young prospects in the area, Parham came into this game with offers from local DI schools Robert Morris and Duquesne. Offensively, he hit three of his eight attempts from the field for eight points. However, he shined on the other end. Parham blocked three shots, all of them which were big-time rejections into the first or second row of fans. He flew around the lane and could recover from just about any lost space with his superb length. Also grabbed eight rebounds. He is only going to get stronger and looks like he will become one of the top offensive forwards in the area over the next few years.
