What a defensive performance by Nashville. They held T-Town to 8 points through the first three quarters. [player_tooltip player_id="1106938" first="Saxton" last="Hoepker"] is a small college gem big man who netted 16 points in the win.

Monticello defeats Bloomington Central Catholic 62-44

This was another game we caught quite a bit of. Monticello is a balanced team that can really shoot the rock and defend. Their sharp shooter Dylan Ginalick went for 18 points and 10 boards. It was a quiet first half for BCC star [player_tooltip player_id="1157235" first="Cole" last="Certa"] but he did end up with 10 points.

Rockridge defeats Rockford Lutheran 57-52

Six three pointers and 30 points did the trick as Jase Whiteman led the way for Rockridge!

3A

Simeon defeats Lemont 52-47

It was the breakout game on a big stage for top 10 junior [player_tooltip player_id="1048306" first="Miles" last="Rubin"] as the Simeon four man went for 22 points in the win. Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id="1279762" first="Matas" last="Castillo"] had 16 in the loss on the Lemont side.

St. Ignatius defeats St. Patrick 50-49

We were tuned into this double OT thriller. Ignatius got stops to end both regulation and OT. Then did it again with a one point lead to win the game. [player_tooltip player_id="925217" first="Kolby" last="Gilles"] was a monster for Iggy in a 17 point outing using his athleticism, size, and quickness inside. [player_tooltip player_id="989270" first="Richard" last="Barron"] had 16 points as well. Brandon Adorno came on strong at the end of the season finishing this one with 20.

Metamora defeats Wheaton St. Francis 60-44

Sacred Heart Griffin defeats East St. Louis 60-50

This was a huge win for this SHG group of juniors as they knocked off a super talented Flyers squad. Their stars as usual stepped up with [player_tooltip player_id="989267" first="Jake" last="Hamilton"] going for 16 points and Zach Hamilton netting 14 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.

Glenbard West defeats Larkin 60-34

Barrington defeats Glenbrook South 52-50

Most thought the winner of GBS vs New Trier would cruise to state. Barrington said “Not So Fast My Friend!” [player_tooltip player_id="1106946" first="Will" last="Grudzinski"] was money in this one as the skilled and versatile forward committed to Washington University in St. Louis had 16 points in the win in his matchup with Elon commit [player_tooltip player_id="925224" first="Nick" last="Martinelli"] who finished with 18 points.

Bolingbrook defeats Quincy 49-42

Coach Brost does damage in March! That’s what this program has done for years.
