0- The number of losses that the Chesterton Trojans have this season. Entering the Class 4A state championship at 29-0, the Trojans will look to become the first team since 2017-2018 Warren Central to go undefeated.
1- The amount of teams ranked #1 in their respective class in the final AP Poll. Only undefeated Chesterton holds that spot in the 4A poll.
2- Only two teams in this year’s state championship games have ever played for a title before. Cathedral was a state champion at the Class 3A level in 1998 and a Class 4A runner-up in 2013. Lafayette Central Catholic won the Class 1A title in 1998, 2000, 2003, and were runners-up in 1999 and 2017.
3- There will be three Division I signees taking the Gainbridge Fieldhouse floor on Saturday.
