The event was held at the Tarkanian Basketball Academy located at 2730 S Rancho Dr. All games from the camp will be live-streamed on the 7outz Network. This camp platform provides an opportunity for unknown players to get discovered, and the event features several prospects ready to take advantage of the opportunity. The camp featured over 40 prospects including several under-the-radar prospects. In this article, we take a look at some of the top sleepers from the camp.
Christian Ware Christian Ware 6'2" | SG SLAM | 2022 State NV 6’4 SG SLAM (#103) – Ware didn’t make the A.S game, however, he played well. Despite being slight of frame, I was impressed with his ability to finish around the rim. He has a slo-mo type game, methodically making his way to the basket. Ware showed good skill, slashing to the rim, and finishing at the hoop.
Xerian Anderson 6’9 C St John Bosco – For coaches needing a project big, Anderson would be worth a look. Despite his body, he prefers to play with finesse. He showed decent touch on his jumper, hitting face-up jumpers as well as a couple of turnarounds. He may need a little more development however, he does have skill wrapped inside a big frame.
Zach Rasmussen 6’4 SF Shadow Ridge – Rasmussen showed several explosive plays, getting a few dunks during the camp. Rasmussen was most effective catching and finishing in transition, however, he did show some ball skills during the camp. He has a good frame to go along with some R&J ability, Rasmussen is definitely worth a JUCO look.
Solomon Mason Solomon Mason 5'8" | PG Palo Verde | 2022 State NV 5’8 PG Palo Verde (#122) – Mason was one of the better two-way players. On the offensive end, his wiggle was outstanding as he showed good speed, lateral quickness, and COD ability. On the defensive end, he revised his role of a pest, hounding ballhandlers throughout the day. Mason is the type of tempo-changing, jitterbug PG that could be of service to a program.
Emeka Ceaser Emeka Ceaser 5'11" | SG Centennial | 2022 State NV 5’10 PG Centennial (#51) – Ceaser was one of the top tempo changing guards at the camp. He showed a good offensive skill set, scoring the ball in transition, in 1 v 1 situations, and off the bounce. He also showed improved shooting ability hitting his share of knock-down threes. Defensively he made it difficult for ballhandlers, constantly hawking the ball.
