Asjon Anderson Asjon Anderson 6'0" | PG Mt. Tahoma | 2022 State WA , 6’2, SG/PG, Mt. Tahoma, C/O 2022
Just as he did throughout his high school senior season, Asjon Anderson Asjon Anderson 6'0" | PG Mt. Tahoma | 2022 State WA quickly established himself as a top tier scoring threat and did it in a multitude of ways at the Rising Stars Exposure Camp. His jumper was effortless during scrimmages, along with the rest of his arsenal, showing many reasons why he averaged 32 points per game for Mt. Tahoma and one of the best guards in the state. Using stepbacks, dribble pull-ups, reverse layups, and blowing by defenders on the break with his quickness and ball control, he was perhaps the most complete offensive player at the camp on Day 1.
Daniel Wondie, 6’3, PG/SG, Chief Sealth, C/O 2022
Wondie gives you a little bit of everything you need from a combo guard at the next level, and he quietly had a great senior season in a guard-loaded Metro League. He’s an excellent lead ballhandler and takes care of the basketball. Scoring wise, he is an awesome creator and can finish over taller defenders while driving the paint, while hitting the 3 consistently with his high-arching release, and he can do it off the catch or with the ball in his hands. Defensively, he plays with a lot of heart, is very vocal and can pick up opposing guards with full court pressure defense and is long enough to stay in front and bother other playmakers in the half court.
Ja’Von Ervin, 6’4, Guard, Elite Prep, C/O 2022
Ja’von Ervin jumps out as a unique prospect with his size and strength from the guard spot. He plays more like a forward and is listed at 6-foot-4 but plays much taller than that while attacking the rim. He’s able to bull through smaller defenders while going downhill, tricks you with his second jump on the offensive glass, and he can finish through contact. A capable jump shooter too, he takes the open perimeter jumpers with confidence.
Jaydan Wingo, 6’2, PG/SG, Renton, C/O 2022
A hyper athletic guard, Wingo is a player who could easily play the 1-3 positions and averaged 13 ppg, 6 rpg and 2 spg per game as a senior for Renton this year. He stood out as a nice shooter at the event and someone who helps battle for rebounds inside on both ends of the court from the guard slot. The wirey-bodied lefty runs the floor well and can finish with ease with either hand off the glass for his layins. At 6’2, he has great size and athleticism that allows him to do a lot of things well positionally.
Nyale Robinson, 5’9, PG, Rainer Beach, C/O 2025
After a strong showing towards the end of the season for Rainer Beach. The freshmen showed signs of potential as the 21-22’ season progressed. He was a key spark plug for the Vikings during their postseason run. He looked a lot like that at the BSR camp for Day 1. As a small point guard at 5’9, he’s quick and shifty and can advance the ball up the court in a blur, getting quick buckets down the floor by setting up his teammates or shooting the 3-ball if he has open space. A big name to keep an eye on.
