The 2023 rankings update was filled with so many stock risers that one post was not enough. Here are even more stock risers from the 2023 rankings update.

[player_tooltip player_id="902749" first="Mason" last="Piorkowski"], 5’9 PG St. Joseph (Mont.)

Piorkowski saw his stock take a big jump in the rankings as he moved up 38 spots in the update. The 5’9 guard is a sniper from distance as his range starts once he crosses halfcourt and can knock down triples in bunches. Piorkowski moves exceptionally well off the ball and he can also handle the ball on the perimeter. He has a nice touch on his floater and slides his feet on the defensive end. Piorkowski is a sharp-shooting guard prospect who should continue to hit big jumpers for St. Joseph (Mont.) in 2022-23.

[player_tooltip player_id="1013099" first="Jackson" last="Bleeker"], 6’3 SG Seton Hall Prep

Bleeker had a breakout junior campaign for the Pirates, which resulted in a 31-spot jump in the rankings. The 6’3 lefty has a smooth release on his jumper and sets his feet before he shoots. Bleeker is more than just a shooter as he can also put the ball on the floor and score in the mid-range. He moves well off the ball and is an underrated defender. Bleeker’s ability to knock down shots from behind the arc is something that will help his stock in a big way in his senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1269793" first="Theo" last="Sica"], 6’1 SG Westfield

Sica made a big impact for the Blue Devils this season, resulting in a 27-spot increase in the rankings. The 6’1 guard provided instant offense off the bench as he was able to get hot quickly. Sica is a good finisher around the basket and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He is a strong rebounder for a guard and rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands. Sica is a shooting guard prospect whose stock should continue to rise as he gets more looks in Westfield’s offense next season.

[player_tooltip player_id="1270571" first="Chase" last="Murray"], 6’10 PF Paul VI

Murray had a solid season for Paul VI as he went up 26 spots in the update. The Timber Creek transfer finishes strong above the rim and is capable of drawing contact in the paint. Murray has also shown the ability to play on the perimeter as his range extends out to the three-point line and can put the ball on the floor. He uses his combination of length and athleticism to alter shots around the basket, making him one of the better shot-blockers in the class. Murray is an intriguing prospect to watch as he has the skillset to impact the game in a variety of ways.

[player_tooltip player_id="1270515" first="Brandon" last="Dean"], 5’10 PG South Plainfield

Dean lit up scoreboards all season long, resulting in him moving up 25 spots in the rankings. The 5’10 guard has a decisive first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and finish around the basket. Dean has a quick release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He knows how to get deflections on the defensive end and makes good passes in both transition and halfcourt. Dean is a scoring point guard prospect who should continue to fill up the box score in 2022-23 for South Plainfield.
