The 2023 rankings are out.

We dive into the positional rankings. We now look at the top power forwards and centers for the junior class.

Here are the top-8 PF/C’s in the 2023 class:

[player_tooltip player_id="814038" first="Noah" last="Amenhauser"] Estrella Foothills

A rare big man with NBA size. One of the tallest players in the entire West Coast plus in the country. He has advance post footwork and he can shoot. He is most comfortable from the elbow but can extend to the 3. He is also a very good passer from the high post.

[player_tooltip player_id="1284844" first="David" last="Tubek"] Dream City Christian

A strong bodied face-up four-man with bounce. He plays above the rim on the break and has a polished catch-3. Most college coaches are recruiting him to be that trail-four who can knock down the open jumper. He will straight line drive and rebounds at a good clip in his area.

[player_tooltip player_id="814520" first="Isaac" last="Hymes"] Millennium

A long and somewhat lean power forward is slowly filling in and getting stronger. He has wing skills to handle it and hit shots from the perimeter. He blocks shots and rebounds at a good clip and he can create his own offense.

[player_tooltip player_id="1328024" first="Jahki" last="Gupton"] Phhoenix Prep

A long and skinny athletic forward plays way above the rim on the break. He is more of a finesse forward as he shoots it fairly well from the 3pt line and his length bothers his opponents to block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id="1032529" first="Nate" last="Parras"] Bella Vista Prep

Another athletic forward can play some 3-5. He is a bit undersized but makes up for it with his length, athleticism and effort. He has a good motor to rebound in and out of his area, he can handle it a little, make plays for others and shoot the 3.

[player_tooltip player_id="1127089" first="Michael" last="DeHorney"] Hamilton (Pictured)

Once again another long and lean forward who plays with a big motor. He moves really well in space and is a natural glass cleaner and switches easily to the post players onto the guards. He scores in from inside and out to the elbow.

[player_tooltip player_id="1183400" first="KaShar" last="Benton"] AZ Compass Prep

A massive post player who is very young for his grade. He has good strength, big hands and is a rare back to the basket scorer. He moves his opponents with his girth and is a strong two-handed rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id="1211945" first="Zaveion" last="Bineyard"] Verrado

I have seen him the least of the group, but I like what I saw when I did. He can face up to the 3pt line, he is a plus athlete and he can rebound and block shots. He runs the floor like a wing and seems to be a nice west side sleeper.
