Jordan McKay Jordan McKay 6'3" | SF Liberty | 2022 State CO — Liberty
He’s baacck!! McKay had to sit out most of the summer and this season with a freak accident but now that he is back, he’s making up for lost time and has picked up right where he left off at, being one of the best players in the conference. Now that he’s back, Liberty looks close to a complete team and they will need him to continue being dominant both inside and out if they want to make a playoff push. McKay is the X-factor for this Liberty squad because they go as far as he allows them to. He’s putting up 15.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and a career-high 2.6 assists a game as he’s allowing the game to come to him and trusting in teammates. He will look to lead the No.34 seed in what i expect to be a very close game and for him to take over on both ends of the floor so be on the lookout for this squad to make some noise on his back.
Carson Evans — Dakota Ridge
Evans is a player that we have not discussed before but a under the radar prospect that has been turning heads. Evans is the leading scorer for Dakota Ridge at 12.8 points a game and the point guard has been consistent all year long. He sees the floor well, gets to his spots and has been knocking down the 3-ball and the junior standout has been a force all season long. He now takes the No. 18 seeded team into the playoffs with hopes to keep the season alive. How he responds with all of the attention on him with determine how far DR pushes into the playoffs and he he has the opportunity to showcase himself on the big stage.
Jack Debell — Legacy
The No. 26 seed in the playoffs is a team with a balanced attack and that makes them a difficult team to matchup with. They have senior leadership and underclassmen that stand out from time to time but their most consistent player has been senior standout Jack Debell. Debell is the teams leading scorer but also has been a force inside as well. He uses his size inside, steps out and extends the defense and also is a hustle player that can do it all. Expect for the team to go through him to lead the way and for it to all fall on his shoulders.
Trevea Bolden Trevea Bolden 6'7" | C FNE Warriors | 2022 State CO — Far Northeast Warriors
The 6’6 man in the middle for the Far Northeast Warriors has caused headaches for opposing teams all season long. With the physicality that the Warriors imploy, having a mean big man that is not afraid to battle opens their team up and makes them that much more dangerous. Bolden is a lanky big that uses his height, runs the floor and finishes with ease. He also is a rebounding tower that snags boards down and start the break. He’s averaging 11.9 points and 7.4 rebounds a game and will have to be the X-factor on the squad that can ultimately win the No.39 seeds first round matchup with a big game. I expect to see plenty of Bolden in this game and for him to step up.
