<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076703" first="Sonny" last="Ortiz"]-</span> 6’4 Shooting Guard "West Mesa" Class of 2023</p> <p style="text-align: center;">This past Saturday afternoon February 5th, [player_tooltip player_id="1076703" first="Sonny" last="Ortiz"] led the West Mesa Mustangs to a 50-47 upset victory over the La Cueva Bears. He scored 22 points and helped West Mesa get another win in district play. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076677" first="Jose" last="Murillo"]-</span> 6’9 Center "Highland" Class of 2022</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Highland big man [player_tooltip player_id="1076677" first="Jose" last="Murillo"] had a great performance vs Valencia this past Tuesday February 1st. He recorded a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds. He shot 12/15 from the field to help Highland win 69-52. This season Jose is averaging 22.2 points per game and 11.6 rebounds per game. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1225473" first="Oscar" last="McCoy"]-</span> 5’8 Point Guard "Volcano Vista" Class of 2022</p> <p style="text-align: center;">[player_tooltip player_id="1225473" first="Oscar" last="McCoy"] had a nice shooting display this past Friday night February 4th on the road vs Cleveland. He made 5 three pointers to help Volcano Vista defeat Cleveland 84-59. Volcano Vista improved to 20-0 this season and 4-0 in district play. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1176301" first="Latavious" last="Morris"]-</span> 5’6 Point Guard "Atrisco Heritage" Class of 2025</p> <p style="text-align: center;">[player_tooltip player_id="1176301" first="Latavious" last="Morris"] helped lead Atrisco Heritage to a 68-38 victory at home vs Cibola this past Monday January 31st. He scored a team high 18 points in the game. Atrisco Heritage is currently 17-3 this season and 4-0 in district play.  </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">William Benjamin Jr.-</span> 6’1 Guard "Las Cruces" Class of 2022</p> <p style="text-align: center;">William "Deuce" Benjamin had another nice scoring display this past Tuesday February 1st. He scored 30 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 5 assists. He shot 6/13 from the field and shot 17/24 from the free throw line. His play helped Las Cruces defeat Organ Mountain 95-52. Las Cruces improved to 22-0 this season. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076669" first="Jalen" last="Goar"]-</span> 6’0 Guard "Hobbs" Class of 2022</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Hobbs defeated Carlsbad 57-52 this past Friday February 4th and [player_tooltip player_id="1076669" first="Jalen" last="Goar"] played a huge role in the victory. Jalen scored 20 points, shot 4/8 from the three point line, shot 4/4 from the free throw line and grabbed 5 rebounds. Hobbs is now 21-2 this season. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076700" first="Exodus" last="Ayers"]-</span> 6’3 Guard "La Cueva" Class of 2023</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Despite the loss to West Mesa 50-47 this past Saturday February 5th, [player_tooltip player_id="1076700" first="Exodus" last="Ayers"] play well. He scored 24 points on 9/15 shooting from the field, shot 3/6 from three point range and grabbed 8 rebounds. La Cueva is still an excellent 16-3 this season. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Tyrell Archie-</span> Power Forward "Crownpoint" Class of 2023</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Crownpoint defeated Tohatchi 78-32 this past Thursday February 3rd. Tyrell scored 26 points on 8/15 shooting from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds to secure the double-double. He shot 7/14 from the field to help his squad improve to 15-6 this season. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Tayton Hillard-</span> 6’0 Power Forward "Lovington" Class of 2022</p> <p style="text-align: center;">This past Friday night February 4th, Tayton scored 26 points on 8/15 shooting from the field to help Lovington defeat Portales 66-46. He also grabbed 6 rebounds and was 8/10 from the free throw line. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076697" first="Noah" last="Reese"]-</span> 6’2 Power Forward "Goddard" Class of 2022</p> <p style="text-align: center;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076697" first="Noah" last="Reese"] recorded a double-double in Goddard’s 55-54 victory over Artesia this past Friday February 4th. He scored 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. He shot a solid 11/19 from the field and 3/5 from three point range. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Daniel Corrales-</span> 6’6 Power Forward "Belen" Class of 2022</p> <p style="text-align: center;">This past Tuesday night February 1st, Daniel Corrales scored 24 points on 9/14 shooting from the field and 5/7 from the free throw line to help Belen defeat Grants 51-44. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076724" first="Alexis" last="Dominguez"]-</span> 5’9 Point Guard "Highland" Class of 2023</p> <p style="text-align: center;">Highland Point Guard [player_tooltip player_id="1076724" first="Alexis" last="Dominguez"] played a huge role in Highland’s 69-52 victory vs Valencia this past Tuesday February 1st. He was the teams second leading scorer with 19 points and dished 3 assists. His play has helped Highland sit at 16-3 this season. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076692" first="Santiago" last="Rivas"]-</span> 5’9 Shooting Guard "Escalante" Class of 2022</p> <p style="text-align: center;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076692" first="Santiago" last="Rivas"] had a nice all around performance this past Saturday February 5th vs Questa. He scored 22 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished 5 assists and had 3 steals in the teams 78-39 victory. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076702" first="Shane" last="Douma-Sanchez"] -</span> 6’1 Guard "Del Norte" Class of 2023</p> <p style="text-align: center;">In a back and forth district match-up vs Bernalillo, [player_tooltip player_id="1076702" first="Shane" last="Douma-Sanchez"] had a great performance this past Friday February 4th. He scored 24 points in Del Norte’s 81-70 victory. They are now 5-0 in district play and have won 6 straight games. </p> <p style="text-align: center;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="1076693" first="Joren" last="Mirabal"]-</span> 6’2 Shooting Guard "Magdalena" Class of 2022</p> <p style="text-align: center;">This past Tuesday February 1st, Joren helped Magdalena defeat Alamo Navajo 85-31. He scored 28 points on 10/20 shooting from the field, shot 7/14 from three point range and dished out 6 assists in the teams victory. Magdalena is now 23-1 this season. </p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
