<p><strong>Week 11 Top Forwards</strong></p> <p><strong>2022 6-10 F [player_tooltip player_id="870148" first="Malique" last="Ewin"] – Berkmar</strong></p> <p>Ole Miss will have a chance to develop a potential stud in [player_tooltip player_id="870148" first="Malique" last="Ewin"]. At the end of quarters, Berkmar isolated for Ewin at the top of the key and let him create off the dribble. He delivered twice, hitting an And-1 jumper and then later a leaning contested baseline shot. Ewin handles the ball smoothly and puts the defense in jeopardy with how he can shoot overtop or get all the way to the rim. Ewin has good hands around the rim and a quick second leap to keep him on the glass. Malique posted 19 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in a 54-52 win over Norcross.</p> <p><strong>2023 6-9 F [player_tooltip player_id="1215445" first="Spencer" last="Elliott"] – St. Pius X</strong></p> <p>In what was a low scoring physical game, [player_tooltip player_id="1215445" first="Spencer" last="Elliott"] managed to shut down the paint when Southwest DeKalb was in dire need of points. Elliott finished with 11 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks. He scored on two tip-ins and attacked from the high post on a drive. He scored six points in the fourth quarter, part of a 14-3 frame that helped the Golden Lions pull away for a 48-35 win.</p> <p><strong>2024 6-7 F [player_tooltip player_id="1377492" first="Damerius" last="Putmon"] – Lithia Springs</strong></p> <p>The young lanky big man battled foul trouble vs. Chapel Hill but was very effective when he was on the floor. Putmon plays hard. He runs rim to rim and can catch in transition and finish. He gets off his feet quickly inside and uses his length to snatch offensive rebounds. He is a solid rim protector and will unlock more elements of his game as he gets stronger. Good future ahead.</p> <p><strong>2023 6-7 F [player_tooltip player_id="820298" first="Kelvin" last="Hunter"] – Chapel Hill</strong></p> <p>Stretch big man that can consistently knockdown the three-point shot. Good rim protector that blocks shots without fouling. High skill level.</p>
