Shooting deserves recognition always. The following players make the skill look absurdly easy.

Heath is one of many strong shooters with the Mustangs and yet he is a tier above. The quick release enables him to create a shot even in tight, pressured positions.

Early February DC hit 13 three-pointers in a single game. Amazing. Cockrill III earned starter’s minutes all of his sophomore year through consistent catch-and-shooting for a State Tournament team. Cockrill III continues his maturation by moving a little better off the ball. Like last year, Pearl-Cohn is perfectly capable of advancing to the State Tournament and DC is a potential gamebreaker.

Freshman starlet [player_tooltip player_id="1390290" first="Issac" last="Power"] benefits from strong shoulders and arms for a young player. Quickening his release will help though Power transitions the basketball through the shooting pocket better than 90% of the state’s players already. The mechanics are economical. IP earned 12-4A All-District honors, the youngest by two academic years.

The shooting form and consistency of Dalton are very bankable. McNew is good for 1.5 makes per night from the great beyond.

USN brings one of the best senior trios out, and yet their strongest three-point shooter is a sophomore, Mahoney Daunic. MD is nearing 50 made 3’s.

USN’s starting point guard is good for just over 1.5 made each game and unlike most of the players listed above JS is his team’s primary balll-handler. Scretchen will play in the Next Level Skills All-Star Game March 26th and Valor Prep.

His statistics: 43-125 - 34%.

Lefty Long-Range as he will now be known earned his respect through scoring and shooting. Haynes was unstoppable mid-December, breaking out with 32 at the Battle of the Bluff 2. Haynes is a player with ideal guard height and muscle development. With continued expansion of his offensive game, the sophomore could be a Top 5 guard in Tennessee.
