Tuesdays Big Games

<p>It is an understatement to say that not every game is important but there are some matchups that could really turn some things around for a few players and teams. Region 4 is wild as any team could catch you on a bad night and in Region 3 some of the teams struggling are better than they are showing. in 5A things are heating up as Alta is trying to assert themselves here as a Top 2 team. </p> <p><strong>Alta vs. Timpview</strong></p> <p>1st place is on the line as these two teams set to tip-off tonight. Timpview is getting help from everyone on the roster and it makes them hard to stop as they get good play from players like [player_tooltip player_id="1337838" first="Truman" last="Burningham"] and James Oldroyd. On the other side of the ball you have [player_tooltip player_id="968776" first="Jett" last="Lundberg"] really playing as is [player_tooltip player_id="967725" first="Jaxon" last="Heiden"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1298532" first="Jaxon" last="Johnson"]. This game has a lot riding on the line. Alta could once again prove itself as a threat to win it all and Timpview could make a statement to let everyone know that they are for real. </p> <p><strong>Key Players:</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="967725" first="Jaxon" last="Heiden"] (Alta), Jame Rust (Timpview)</p> <p><strong>Corner Canyon vs. Westlake </strong></p> <p>Corner Canyon and Westlake are tied at 3-3 in Region play and this win could be the difference from falling from 6th to 10th in the RPI. Corner Canyon had a rough time with Westlake in their last meeting but it is not likely fo rthem to have two bad showings in a row. Look for [player_tooltip player_id="968111" first="Jaiden" last="Feroah"] to try and assert himself early. Westlake will need more that [player_tooltip player_id="968781" first="Dylan" last="Jones"] in this one. Although Dylan has enough firepower to carry the load Westlake is at its best when multiple players are hitting.</p> <p><strong>Key Players:</strong> [player_tooltip player_id="934040" first="Max" last="Toombs"] (Corner Canyon), Ashton Anderson (Westlake)</p> <p><strong>Skyline vs. Murray</strong></p> <p>Skyline got off to a really hot start but 6 of their 7 losses have come against region foes. Skyline has gotten great play from [player_tooltip player_id="942593" first="Yorgio" last="Golesis"] who has been lighting it up from allover the floor. They have has a few other players pitch in like [player_tooltip player_id="969238" first="Peter" last="Broadbent"] and [player_tooltip player_id="968785" first="Kolton" last="Smith"]. Murray is in a solid position and they are led by [player_tooltip player_id="934036" first="Chudi" last="Anosike"] but get great play fro Jaxon Workman and [player_tooltip player_id="967691" first="Bowen" last="Davies"]. Chudi has another opportunity to wow college recruits as he is on a tear scoring the ball.
