<p>The most entertaining time of the high school basketball season is upon us as the state tournament is inching nearer. The NJSIAA playoff brackets were released at noon today, as teams look to take home the last ever Tournament of Champions trophy. There are talented prospects who missed out on the state tournament, but have the ability to make an impact at the next level. Here are the top prospects who missed playing in the NJSIAA Tournament.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1013064" first="Ted" last="Gregoire"], 6’5 PF Roselle Park 2023</strong></p>
<p>Gregoire has done it all for the Panthers this season as he is a versatile forward prospect. The 6’5 forward has a physical frame, which he uses to get position around the basket and draw contact. Gregoire is also capable of playing on the perimeter as he can put the ball on the floor and hit jumpers in the mid-range. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and is a solid passer. Gregoire is a point forward prospect to watch in the 2023 class with his ability to finish around the basket.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="901994" first="Josiah" last="Brown"], 5’8 PG New Brunswick 2022</strong></p>
<p>The Zebras just missed out on making the Central Jersey Group 4 tournament, meaning Brown will be unable to compete for a sectional title in his senior season. The 5’8 guard prospect has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender in the half court. Brown is a good finisher around the basket and is capable of making open jumpers on the perimeter. He gets his teammates involved and is a tough on-ball defender. Brown is a gritty floor general prospect that is capable of making plays at both ends of the floor.</p>
<p><strong>Bahki Rogers-Robinson, 5’10 PG West Caldwell Tech 2022</strong></p>
<p>Rogers-Robinson put up monster numbers for West Caldwell Tech this season as he was a one-man show. The 5’10 floor general has a good handle, which he uses to break his defender down and finish around the basket. Rogers-Robinson knows how to get to the free throw line and has a nice touch on his floater. He plays with quick hands on the defensive end and is a strong rebounder for a guard his size. Rogers-Robinson is a play-maker at both ends of the floor, who has 5 30-point games this season for the Eagles.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1050411" first="Khalil" last="Sanders"], PG Newark Tech 2024</strong></p>
<p>Sanders has been the go-to guy for the Terriers’ offense this season and is looking to continue that role for them as his varsity career continues. The sophomore guard knows how to get into the lane and finish through contact around the basket. Sanders is more than a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He is a good passer and gets deflections on the defensive end. Sanders is a skilled floor general who should continue to put up big games for Newark Tech as his career continues.</p>
<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1013069" first="Malachi" last="Johnson"], 6’0 PG Union 2023</strong></p>
<p>Johnson is set for a big senior season after the Farmers just missed out on making the North Jersey Section 2, Group 4 Tournament. The 6’0 lead guard has a nice handle, which he uses to get into the lane and make plays. Johnson is a crafty finisher around the basket and does not mind drawing contact. He has a good release on his jumper and can make opponents pay for giving him space on the perimeter. Johnson is a talented guard prospect who knows how to score the ball.</p>
