The best of the best on a wonderful Monday night of basketball. Here is our top group of five players.

[player_tooltip player_id="958670" first="De’Meiko" last="Anderson"] of Minneapolis North. Anderson continues to grow and grow and with that comes more and more consistency. The 6’2 guard scored 30 last night leading North past Washburn 82-55.

[player_tooltip player_id="1189958" first="Isaiah" last="Hagen"] from Orono. Isaiah scored 26 with six points and six boards leading the Spartans past rival Waconia in an important win. Hagen is a junior combo guard that plays a lot of roles and contributes to his team in many ways.

[player_tooltip player_id="1288741" first="Jaedyn" last="Patterson"] of Richfield. The Richfield senior has upped his average to 18 a game as he’s been on a recent scoring terror. Had 26 last night against Brooklyn Center, the 6’4 also had 24 beating Holy Angels, 22 beating St Anthony, and 26 beating Minnehaha Academy recently.

[player_tooltip player_id="958764" first="Ayo" last="Taki"] of Champlin Park. I’ve seen Ayo have a couple good games this season but nothing like the 38 he had last night in helping the Rebels beat Anoka! Big time game!

[player_tooltip player_id="958732" first="Matt" last="Thompson"] of Hancock. Thompson went for 37 last night as Hancock knocked off West Central Area 80-61. 15 field goals and 17 boards they say, the 6’9 big dominated the game on both ends.

Previously mentioned and written about but...

[player_tooltip player_id="958757" first="Cody" last="Pennebaker"] of Park Center. Cody took over a top ten game between Park Center and Osseo scoring 26 points on 10 of 16 shooting. Cody was facing a couple fairly talented big wings at Osseo but just outplayed them like a veteran.
