No. 48 [player_tooltip player_id="574440" first="Mike" last="Best"] | 6’0 | Word of God

Best is an underrecruited name in the state’s 2022 class over at Word of God Academy. He’s got a nice blend of handles and quickness that allow him to do multiple things well with the ball like distributing and scoring in traffic. He holds an offer already from Livingstone College and as the season draws to a close, look for him to attract more interest.

No. 56 [player_tooltip player_id="848065" first="Khalil" last="Marshall"] | 6’1 | Lake Norman Christian

Marshall is another under-the-radar floor general over at Lake Norman Christian that’s produced well in 2021-22. He’s averaged 6.9 ppg, 2.4 apg and 2.3 spg as a presence in the Lake Norman Christian backcourt. As he shows off what he can do as an unsigned prospect this spring/summer, look for DII and DIII schools to pull the trigger.

No. 61 [player_tooltip player_id="574464" first="Cole" last="Sinclair"] | 6’1 | Winston-Salem Christian Post-Grad

Sinclair has fared well with Winston-Salem Christian’s post-grad squad this past season, sharpening his skills at the point guard spot. He had a busy month this past January while averaging 17.6 ppg on 3.3 3-pointers made per game. As he shows his prowess on the defensive end of the floor, look for some DII and DIII schools to pull the trigger on him.

No. 68 [player_tooltip player_id="945006" first="Justin" last="Monden"] | 5’10 | Heritage

Monden showed off his growth in the Heritage High backcourt in 2021-22. He posted 23.9 ppg and 4.1 apg while shooting 68 percent from the field and utilizing quite the floor game to show off his efficiency. He’s a late-blooming prospect to keep an eye on during the spring/summer months as an unsigned prospect.

No. 69 [player_tooltip player_id="1111219" first="Marcus" last="Willis"] | 6’0 | United Faith Christian Academy

Willis is a lead guard who hasn’t been overshadowed by the presence of [player_tooltip player_id="932129" first="Xavier" last="McKelvy"] but rather, grown his development as he has in the United Faith backcourt. He’s averaged 15.3 ppg, 4.3 apg, 3.8 rpg and 1.6 spg as a presence for the Falcons in 2021-22 while shooting 52 percent from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range to conclude his prep career.

No. 87 [player_tooltip player_id="848075" first="Quave" last="Propst-Allison"] | 6’0 | Providence Day

Propst-Allison is a floor general that seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle over at Providence Day School. He’s got solid court vision that allows him to find teammates in space to make plays and sharpness with the ball that allows him to speed by defenders and make things happen in the paint. As he shows off his ability to knock down shots, look for schools at the DII and DIII levels to make a move on him.
