The Air Force commit, thanks to his shooting prowess and strong frame has solidified Lowe as one of the state’s top wing scorers. Leading Lewis-Palmer to a near perfect 19-1 season thus far, Lowe has ended every preseason doubt. On the season, Lowe is is posting career highs in points (16.7), rebounds (6.2), three point percentage (52), and free throw percentage (81). One major appeal with Lowe has been his strong frame that allows him to compete with a variety of matchups on defense. He was already a more than capable finisher around the rim, but with a new year and more games to find a rhythm, Lowe has jumped to the best shooter in the conference. The 6’5 wing currently ranks 6th among those in the 2022 class.

Tyson Monck - Vista Ridge - 2023

While Monck was already a dependable shooter through nine games last season, he has absolutely excelled with the higher volume this year. On the year, Monck has improved his per game volume from 4.7 to 6.6 3PA per game on top of improving his percentages from 37% to 45%. Another alarming metric, assuming the numbers are accurate, is that Monck attempted only two free throws in 2020-21 compared to 49 this season. Monck stands at 6’1, averaging 15.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game.

Ethan Smith - Discovery Canyon - 2022

Smith is having himself another improved season at the guard spot, notably thanks to shot selection and added patience in the half-court. On the season, Smith is averaging 10.9 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2.1 steals while knocking down 39% of his three-point attempts. Smith has improved his turnovers per game, down from 4 per game to 2.7 this year. While Smith has taken a very slight rise in his three point attempts per game, his two-point percentage has risen significantly in volume and efficiency, from 39% on 1.7 attempts to 48% on 3.3 attempts inside the arc. Give Smith more shots, for whatever reason he only tends to get more efficient with a greater opportunity.

Caleb Kelley - Vista Ridge - 2023

Kelley is the definition of perimeter focuses athlete, having just over 72% of his attempts coming from behind the arc. On the year, Kelley is averaging 9 points and 3.2 rebounds while converting 40% of his three point attempts. The junior guard has shown consistent improvement each season, he could very well be another late bloomer during his senior year. Kelley stands at roughly 6'1, allowing him to quickly rise over opponents from quick twitch catch and shoot opportunities.

Garver barely inches out [player_tooltip player_id="1046034" first="Cameron" last="Lowe"] for the conference leader in points per game, at 17.7, the 6’4 wing is quickly solidifying himself as one of the top juniors in the Colorado Springs region. In addition to Garver’s outstanding points per game, he is third in conference rebounds at 9.2, while also posting 1.9 steals. Efficiency stands out with Garver, contributing 62% of his twos and 40% of his three point attempts. At 6'4, he plays a high intensity brand of ball along with a very high basketball IQ. He has a great understanding of how to find his spots within the team’s context. Garver is currently ranked 39th in the 2023 class across all positions, another rise is likely on the way.
