Not because of any particular stat but due to the way he controlled the game and how well he stayed composed down the stretch of a close game. He didn’t have any problems breaking down any full court pressure that they faced, and he stepped up to score some clutch buckets when his team desperately needed offense.
Fayetteville Academy Senior Amari Pearson Amari Pearson 6'3" | SF Cape Fear Christian Academy | 2022 State NC : His team would come up short in the second round of the playoffs, but he made a very high impact for his team on the offensive end. He scored the ball at a high rate in the fourth quarter, beating his opponent off the dribble to attack the basket.
Freedom Christian Senior Wing Jacob Dar: There are certain players that catch your attention almost immediately and he is one of those players due to the height and wingspan he possesses. Standing at close to 6’6 with the ability to play multiple positions and score in multiple ways, he has all the tools to be special but will need to add some muscle and increase his motor.
Fayetteville Academy Sophomore Guard Tyler Henderson: Had a solid showing, knocking down shots from outside at a solid rate. He moves well without the ball and does a nice job of getting squared up to get his shot off quickly.
Freedom Christian Senior Guard Deng Atak Deng Atak 6'4" | CG Freedom Christian | 2022 State NC : Offensively he didn’t have one of his better showings, but you have to appreciate what he was able to bring for his team on the defensive side of the ball. He defended multiple positions without fouling, constantly applying pressure which caused some rushed possessions and turnovers.
Fayetteville Academy Guard Jashon Alford: Made a nice impact on both ends of the floor, applying a nice amount of pressure on the defensive side while constantly staying on the attack offensively. He plays the game with a nice amount of competitiveness to him and continues to improve each time we see him.
