With the regular season winding down, the high school basketball careers of the class of 2022 are also nearing a close. With our final rankings update for 2022, we had a lot of movement throughout the class and finished at 140 ranked players for 2022. Here’s a look at some of the biggest movers with this final update.

[player_tooltip player_id="801604" first="Kanye" last="Henderson"], Henry Clay (43-->25) - Henderson has been an impact player for the Blue Devils for a few seasons now but has really elevated his game in his Senior season. He hasn't shot the ball great from deep but he's a playmaker with the ball in his hands and is deadly off the bounce whether he's playing point guard or off ball.

[player_tooltip player_id="922997" first="Kale" last="Gaither"], Madisonville North Hopkins (45-->32) - Gaither has taken the extra year and used it to his advantage as he has added several new offers to his list and likely will end up at one of the nation's top junior colleges this summer. Kale is a shifty combo guard who can score the ball in a hurry and is deadly off the bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id="1370168" first="Mershon" last="Dickerson"], Butler (Unranked-->34) - Part of a really good Butler Senior class, Dickerson burst on the scene this season and put himself in the mix to be a top player in the 6th region. Mershon has good size on the wing and can score the ball at all 3 levels. He should have several college offers before graduation.

[player_tooltip player_id="926890" first="Colby" last="Fugate"], Paintsville (47-->35) - Colby has been a steady presence for the Tigers for several years now and his production as a scoring wing is going to be hard to replace next season. Fugate is a three sport athlete and is capable of playing any of the three in college but he could go to the right school and be a big time scorer at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="1215564" first="Will" last="Hardin"], Madison Central (85-->36) - One of the biggest revelations of the season in the 11th region, Hardin has evolved from role player to 11th region player of the year over the last few seasons. Will is capable of shooting the lights out from three or scoring on the post with his back to the basket. Hardin has a PWO offer from Western Kentucky and several D3 schools vying for his services. He has plenty of good options and will be a very solid college player.
