New Hanover Senior Guard James Jones: The Wildcats have extended their winning streak to seventeen games and Jones has been one of the players to step on multiple occasion throughout the year. They dominated Laney and North Brunswick this week, with Jones going for a game high of 21 Points in their win again NBHS. He’s a smooth shooting guard that has some nice athleticism, knows how to win and gets it done in the classroom just as much as he does on the court.

Richmond County Sophomore Guard [player_tooltip player_id="1076334" first="Paul" last="McNeil"] Jr: The Raiders have gotten back on the winning track with a win over conference foe Union Pines at home. McNeil has natural scoring ability, which was on display as he went for 28 Points, but he also made a nice impact on the boards, pulling down 11 rebounds.

Goldsboro HS Junior Wing [player_tooltip player_id="949375" first="Ta’Korrie" last="Faison"]: It may seem as if we are repeating the same type of stat lines over and over for this young man but that’s simply because he is dominating at an extremely high level on a consistent basis. In their Tuesday night matchup with Princeton, he scored a game high of 41 Points and pulled down 16 Rebounds. His strength, athleticism, and the ability to play inside or on the perimeter are all attributes that should have college coaches giving him a call sooner than later.

St. Pauls Senior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="1032850" first="Jeyvian" last="Tatum"]: Playing in back to back games on Tuesday and Wednesday night, Tatum provided a nice amount of scoring for his team. He scored a game high of 33 Points and we are hopeful that this starts a new streak for him where he can find his offensive rhythm to close out the year.

Wilson Prep Senior Guard Christian Battle: In a highly competitive rematch with Kipp Pride, he stepped up and led his squad to a big time win on the road. Battle scored 23 Points, knocking down shots from outside and using his speed to get out into transition to make plays. Passing is also one of his strengths and that was on display as he dished out 7 Assist.

Pine Forest HS Senior Guard Tristan Harkins: His team had their winning streak snapped in a rematch with EESHS but he put together an impressive shooting performance from the perimeter.
