<p>The season is winding down this week here in the Palmetto State. Prep Hoops is putting out its team rankings for each classification. The Class 3A Poll is in the books. Check it out right here on your source for basketball coverage in the Palmetto State. </p> <p><strong>1- Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS (22-3) </strong></p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/483118BC-D1F4-4D26-948F-2EF5D8A49745.jpeg"><img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-1222646" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2021/06/483118BC-D1F4-4D26-948F-2EF5D8A49745-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p>The Bruins lost one earlier this week to Fox Creek HS. The Bruins will play a winner takes all mentality for the region championship game tonight vs Brookland Cayce HS. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="650231" first="Jordan" last="Simpson"]</strong> has had a great senior year averaging 19.3 ppg and 5.6 rebounds. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="922023" first="Horace" last="Jacques"]</strong> compliments Simpson very nicely averaging 9.9 ppg.</p> <p><strong>2- Seneca HS (20-2) </strong></p> <p><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/11/22D9EC77-7D38-41B6-A0B0-643BCBDA26A0.jpeg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-1089554" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/ph/uploads/2020/11/22D9EC77-7D38-41B6-A0B0-643BCBDA26A0-300x225.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a></p> <p>The Bobcats made a run to the Class 3A State Championship last season. The Bobcats have been led all season long by <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930603" first="EJ" last="Evett"]</strong> 18.4 ppg, 8.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists. Bailey is currently 27.2 ppg, 12.7 rebounds, 5 assists and 3.7 steals this season. The Knights have lost two times to Class 5A Sumter HS. Head Coach Mitchell Moss has his kids playing good basketball right now. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="746060" first="Naqaua" last="Kershaw"]</strong> an unsigned senior is averaging 13.2 ppg and 10.3 rebounds this season. </p> <p><strong>8-Lakewood HS (Sumter) (14-7) </strong></p> <p>This Gators team could be a tough matchup for anyone in the playoffs with Head Coach Ed Scott. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1323978" first="Kameron" last="Rodriguez"]</strong> is having a solid season for the Gators this year.
