<p>Prep Hoops has decided to jump on in and do a Team Rankings Poll. The SCHSL and SCISA Playoffs are just a week away here in the Palmetto State. Over the few days we will be looking at the Top 10 from each class. Buckle Up and Get Ready. Lets start with the smallest classification Class 1A. </p>
<p><strong>1- Calhoun County HS (St Matthews) (17-1) </strong></p>
<p><strong>Russell Brunson</strong> <strong>Jr</strong> will take his talents to Wofford University next season to play football. Brunson is really piling up the stats this season for the Saints. Brunson is averaging 22.1 ppg, 7 rebounds, 8.4 assists and 4.8 steals. The only setback this season for the Saints is to county rival Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS. The Saints have won 16 games in a row. </p>
<p><strong>2- Carvers Bay HS (18-5) </strong></p>

<p>The Bears had a couple big wins in a matter of 4 days over region foe Scott's Branch HS. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="594076" first="Tevin" last="Young"]</strong> a jet quick guard is leading the way and approaching the 1,000-point club. </p>
<p><strong>3- Baptist Hill (Hollywood) (16-1) </strong></p>
<p>The Bobcats really play off the grid at times down in the [program_tooltip program_id='2078736' first='Lowcountry' last='']. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1382221" first="Kaleb" last="Brown"]</strong> is leading the way at 19.3 ppg. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1382216" first="Rashawn" last="Murray"]</strong> chips in at 12.7 ppg and 8.7 rebounds a night while <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1382222" first="Kevin" last="Townsend"]</strong> adds 11.9 ppg and 8.6 rebounds per outing. Who are these Bobcats? Baptist Hill only loss is to North Charleston HS 60-56. </p>
<p><strong>4- Scott's Branch HS (Summerton) (15-3)</strong></p>

<p>The Eagles had two setbacks this past week to Carvers Bay in region play. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865309" first="Randy" last="Gibson"]</strong> an attacking left-handed guard leads the way with <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="837368" first="Zakee" last="Rendell"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="976987" first="Montrez" last="Sinkler"]</strong>. Can the Eagles get back to the SCHSL Class 1A State Championship Game for the 3rd straight season? </p>
<p><strong>5- Denmark-Olar HS (15-5)</strong></p>

<p>The Vikings have been carried by the duo of <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="930636" first="Zachary" last="Davis"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1227988" first="Brushaurd" last="Young"]</strong> all season long. Davis a University of South Carolina signee is averaging 23.8 ppg, 9.6 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 3.3 steals this season. Young a wing player is averaging is averaging 14.5 ppg and 7.3 rebounds a night for the Vikings. The Vikings play the Calhoun County HS Saints this evening in region matchup. </p>
<p><strong>6- Hannah-Pamplico HS (18-6) </strong></p>

<p>The Red Raiders stand one game behind Johnsonville HS in region play currently. [player_tooltip player_id="930643" first="<strong>Cyrus" last="Ellison</strong>"] a South Carolina State University football signee is leading the way with 18.2 ppg and 10 rebounds a night. Ellison is closing in on the 1,000-point club. Ellison currently has 971 points. The Red Raiders have won 8 games in a row. </p>
<p><strong>7- Southside Christian (13-3) </strong></p>
<p>The Sabres the defending Class 1A State Champions stand on top of the region with a (9-1) record. Southside Christian will play Calhoun Falls Charter on Wednesday this week. The Sabres have two wins over McCormick HS this season and one over Calhoun Falls Charter already. </p>
<p><strong>8- Calhoun Falls Charter (12-4) </strong></p>

<p>The Flashes currently stand in 2nd place in the region behind Southside Christian at (8-3). The Flashes have a rematch with Southside Christian come this Wednesday at home. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1350729" first="Ty" last="Turman"]</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1074154" first="Daquean" last="Lewis"]</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1350731" first="Ty" last="Moon"].</strong> </p>
<p><strong>9- Great Falls HS (11-8) </strong></p>

<p>The Red Devils have lost to several bigger schools this season. Great Falls has lost York Prep (2 times), AC Flora HS, Sumter HS, JL Mann and Calhoun Falls Charter. The Red Devils have defeated Hannah-Pamplico HS and Andrew Jackson HS. The Red Devils won the Class 1A State Championship back in 2020 will lean on experience heading down the stretch. Can <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="865297" first="Tydriez" last="Coleman"]</strong> and the others make a push to Aiken come this March? </p>
<p><strong>10- Johnsonville HS (14-6) </strong></p>

<p>The Flashes currently (8-1) have split with Hannah-Pamplico HS this season. Johnsonville HS have losses to Carvers Bay (2 times) and Denmark-Olar HS to name a few. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="1350732" first="Jordan" last="Williams"]</strong> leads the way at 12.8 ppg this season. </p>
