[player_tooltip player_id="1376672" first="Jacob" last="Koch"] | PG | Iowa City West (16)

A 6-0 lead guard who has been incredibly impressive for the Trojans this season, Koch is averaging 9.2 points, 2.1 assists, and 1.4 steals a game while shooting over 54% from behind the arc. He stepped into the starting lineup early this season when [player_tooltip player_id="682262" first="Christian" last="Barnes"] was injured, showing his ability to get others involved, and he has provided a real shooting spark since moving off the ball. He’s a high IQ player on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376673" first="Grant" last="Tigges"] | SG | Waukee Northwest (31)

A 6-3 shooter who is burying 42% from behind the arc so far this season, Tigges moves really well off the ball and has a quick release on the catch. He competes at a high level on the glass (5.3 rebounds a game) and has started to develop his ability to put the ball on the floor and attack hard closeouts by getting to the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376674" first="Calix" last="Cahill"] | PF | Dallas Center-Grimes (36)

Cahill isn’t asked to do much on the offensive end right now, but he has shown the ability to finish effectively around the rim with either hand. He’s a mobile 6-5/6-6 big man who can be a switchable defender. With the Mustangs’ top four scorers being seniors, he’ll have a chance to star next year.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376675" first="Cole" last="Marsh"] | SG | Waverly-Shell Rock (39)

A talented 6-5 scorer with good size and length, Marsh is putting up strong numbers as a sophomore for the Go-Hawks, averaging 13.8 points a game. He’s a capable 3-point threat, but is at his best when he’s using his size to get to the rim or hitting pull-up jumpers. Adding consistency to his perimeter stroke (29.6% from 3 this year) will go a long way towards making him one of the best scorers in the 2024 class.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376676" first="Taylen" last="Proctor"] | SG | Johnston (40)

Playing on a team with a number of big-time senior scorers, Proctor isn’t asked to do a ton on the offensive end right now, but he has shown some flashes of what he’s capable of, and there is a lot to get excited about. He can score from all three levels, is a solid on-ball defender, and he’s a capable ball-handler and decision-maker. He’ll have a chance to really shine starting next year.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376677" first="Jake" last="Peters"] | PF | Cedar Falls (41)

A big body in the paint, Peters is 6-3/6-4 with soft hands, pretty good footwork, and a lot of physicality. He’s averaging 3.7 points and 2.4 rebounds off the bench for one of 4A’s best teams while shooting nearly 73% from the floor.

Kampman is a long, athletic, and mobile 6-7 big man with a lot of potential. He’s averaging 3.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks a game for the Lightning this season, but he has shown flashes of brilliance on both ends of the floor. As he continues to smoothen out his footwork, add some range, and gain some weight and strength, he could see himself vaulting up these rankings in a hurry.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376678" first="Jacob" last="Williams"] | PF | Senior (45)

A bouncy 6-4 forward, Williams is leading the Rams in scoring (12.0), rebounding (5.3), and blocks (1.2) while shooting 59.4% from the floor. He does a majority of his damage around the rim, but he has shown the ability to stretch the floor as well, knocking down 15 3-pointers so far at a 48.4% clip.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376679" first="Graham" last="Beckman"] | SF | Liberty (47)

A 6-2 wing who plays downhill and can get to the rim, Beckman has some length and is a high IQ player with a good feel. He’s a capable playmaker for others and can get his own looks. He’s averaging 5.3 points and 3.6 rebounds a game. Adding a consistent jumper to his game is the next part of his development.

[player_tooltip player_id="1376680" first="Reid" last="Burkle"] | PF | Prairie (48)

The younger brother of standout forward [player_tooltip player_id="682264" first="Gabe" last="Burkle"], Reid is a 6-5 power forward with athleticism and great hands. He’s another player who isn’t asked to do much offensively quite yet, averaging more rebounds (4.5) than points (4.0), but he has shown the ability to finish efficiently around the rim and occasionally stretch the floor.
