<p>Thompson is a budding name in the class that continues to have a strong year in the Central Cabarrus backcourt. He’s posted 19.3 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 3.3 spg and 3.0 apg as an all-around presence at the point guard spot as the Vikings remain unbeaten headed into the playoffs. He’s due to have a strong summer with a Western Carolina offer already.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="854917" first="Jah" last="Short"] | 6’4 Guard/Wing | Farmville Central</h5>
<p>Short has been of the leading names for the revamped but still electric Farmville Central Jaguars with his ability to make plays for others and finish at the rim. He’s an athletic wing with a ton of upside as a scorer on the perimeter. As he improves his shooting ability, look for his recruitment to grow.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="998178" first="Samuel" last="Martin"] | 6’9 Center/Forward | Apex</h5>
<p>Martin is starting to come into his own in the Apex High frontcourt with his size and ability. He’s had a productive junior campaign with 15.4 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 5.6 bpg and 3.0 apg through the 2021-22 season. He’s a prospect that can operate inside and out and as he improves his strength in the weight room, should see a boost in his recruitment soon.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="577883" first="Mayar" last="Wol"] | 6’8 Wing/Forward | Moravian Prep</h5>
<p>Wol is another prospect that’s coming into his own in the 2023 class at Moravian Prep. He’s a long, wiry prospect that can handle on the perimeter and operate on the interior as a presence around the rim. He’s improved his ability to knock down shots off the bounce and off the catch and put on some strength. He’s due to have a busy spring/summer on the recruiting trail.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1014991" first="Kevon" last="Vanderhorst"] | 6’0 Point Guard | Trinity Academy Raleigh</h5>
<p>Vanderhorst is a name that continues to climb the ranks in the 2023 class given what he can do. He posted 22 points and 11 assists in the Tigers victory over Gaston Day in the NCISAA 2A Semifinals, showing off his ability to push the pace, find teammates in space and make plays at the rim. He's a name to know in the class.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="949375" first="Ta’Korrie" last="Faison"] | 6’7 Forward | Goldsboro</h5>
<p>Faison has found his stride in his return to the Goldsboro High rotation in 2021-22. He's poured in 26.8 ppg, 15.4 rpg and 3.5 bpg as an impactful presence for the Cougars as they look to make a run in the NCHSAA State Playoffs. He's a prospect with breakout potential this spring/summer.</p>
<h5>[player_tooltip player_id="1068193" first="Xavier" last="Tubbs"] | 6’1 Point Guard | Seventy-First</h5>
<p>Tubbs has been a breath of fresh air in the Seventy-First backcourt with his addition at the point guard spot in 2021-22. He's averaged 17.3 ppg, 3.4 apg, 3.3 rpg and 1.3 spg while leading his squad to a 12-2 record in conference action. He's another point guard to know that gets after it on both ends of the floor. </p>
