When did you start playing basketball?
I started playing around 5th grade. Then, I played for middle school.
Where did you attend elementary school?
USN. They have k-12.
How do you like it?
Umm. It is alright. In terms of recruiting, you have to reach out a lot. You have to find…you have to find AAU programs. I like the group of guys that we have.
Expand on that, if you could. You feel like though the academics are strong, that college coaches are not looking for players coming out of USN?
It is not like a big school, like Ensworth or BA, where coaches know about that and they are looking at that school.
USN 63, CA 60 — Final … Josh Scretchen (USN) 37 pts, 6 3s; 32 in 2nd half … Jeremy Jackson 17, Griffin Cooper 16, Will Jackson 15 in loss …

Let us talk about recruiting. Are you hearing from any colleges now?
I am hearing from a few colleges. Mostly some community colleges. I heard from Lipscomb, Lee. What else? Walters State. Tusculum. And I have been reaching out to HBCU’s. That has sort of been my recruitment so far.
Have you heard back from HBCU’s yet?
I heard back from Xavier (LA). That is it.
Do you have any family members that went to college?
My mom and dad went to college. My day went to Morehouse and law school in Florida. My mom went to Tennessee State.
Did your dad play any sports?
High school football.
We would like to invite you the Next Level Skills All-Star Game to end March.
