Cliff Hennessey 5’11 G Bainbridge
Hennessey is a smart guard who has to get defenders off balance to create the space he needs to work. He has the ability to get to the hole but prefers to stay outside. It is no wonder why when you see him shoot. He can really light it up from range and moves all over the arc. He’s a crafty player that uses his wit to win more matchups than his speed or quickness, but the guard takes care of the ball and adds a much-needed element to the point guard spot with his ability to shoot the trey.
D’Angelo Moore 5’9 G Bremerton
Moore’s a speedy guard who will set you up by knocking down a few threes before blowing by defenders who creep up. He has nice footwork and can string together moves that will get him easy looks. He takes this quickness and intensity to the defensive side of the ball and hounds ball handlers. He’s ready to challenge every time down the floor, gets low and digs in.
Ruppe Wilson 5’9 G Bremerton
This guard is a three-level scorer who has excellent bounce and lift on his jump shots. He’s able to ignore tight defense and hit tough jumpers with hands in his face, and from deep too. He can get creative as he did against Bainbridge with a smooth behind the back wrap around reverse layup. He has a tight handle and doesn’t let the ball get away from him. Wilson is also a good pocket passer, finding windows in small spaces to set up his guys. Ruppe is another two-way guy for Bremerton. He loves the challenge on defense as much as offense and can force steals or sell out for the charge.
Jordan Medcalf 6’4 G/F Lynden
Medcalf is different from the other guys on this list in two ways. One – he’s 6’4. Two – he’s a lefty. He takes long strides and a big first step on the dribble that allows him to get by guys wary of his jumper. That’s because the big lefty can bury shots from long distance. He strokes from long range, battles inside, and is money from the free throw line. He leaves defenses wondering what to do. Aside from his scoring prowess, Medcalf is a good rebounder and a worker, getting tips, blocks and loose balls.
Jeremiah Sibley Jeremiah Sibley 6'0" | PG University | 2022 WA 6’1 G University
Sibley is one of the better scorers in his league, and possibly the state. He has an array of go-to moves to set up his pull up and is incredibly smart in getting defenders leaning where he wants them. He has seemingly limitless range, and consistently for that matter. Sibley is quick as hell and combines that with excellent ball fakes and dribble combos that leave defenders in a blender. He’s a lightning bolt flying around the court and fights for every possession. He also displayed nice passing ability against North Central High School when he connected with Conrad Bippes for a big alley-oop.
