<p>Saturday night saw some top-notch matchups across the state of Indiana including the Indianapolis City Semifinals at Arsenal Tech, a couple of Southwest Indiana, small-class, high-level matchups, and a pair of 4A matchups featuring top-25 2022 prospects. Let’s take a look at some of the top games around the state on Saturday night.</p>
<h2>Cathedral 73 Crispus Attucks 39</h2>
<p>Cathedral came out meaning business, and they never let their focus slip. After Attucks battled back in the first quarter to cut the lead to 12-8, Cathedral would end the first half on a 30-8 run. They would dominate the second half as well and hold on for a 73-39 win. [player_tooltip player_id="870212" first="Tayshawn" last="Comer"] leads the way for Cathedral with 19, and [player_tooltip player_id="868260" first="Sincere" last="Germany"] adds 16. Latrell Williams also added 20 for Crispus Attucks.</p>
<h2>Arsenal Tech 78 Tindley 56</h2>
<p>Tech came out on their home floor and made a statement as they cruised to a 78-56 victory over Tindley. They drained 11 triples, and they were getting out on the fastbreak and throwing lobs to one another all night. Tech would end with four guys in double figures including Matthew Spears (17), [player_tooltip player_id="643490" first="Rasheed" last="Jones"] (15), [player_tooltip player_id="870218" first="Dayveon" last="Turner"] (14), and [player_tooltip player_id="1006434" first="Reggie" last="Bass"] (12). </p>
<h2>Barr-Reeve 54 North Daviess 51 in OT</h2>
<p>In a battle of top 5 teams in 1A, these teams battled back and forth the entire game. With 3 seconds to go, Barr-Reeve was able to knock down two free throws to send the game into overtime. Then, in overtime, [player_tooltip player_id="935727" first="Jaylen" last="Mullen"] had the game winning three go in-and-out with no time left as Barr-Reeve held on. [player_tooltip player_id="958397" first="Hagen" last="Knepp"] had 27 and Kayden Graber had 19 for Barr-Reeve, and [player_tooltip player_id="935727" first="Jaylen" last="Mullen"] led all teams with 29.</p>
<h2>Loogootee 44 Bloomfield 39</h2>
<p>In a battle between top 6 1A teams, Loogootee started out this game on absolute fire taking a 16-4 lead after the first quarter. However, Bloomfield would battle back and make it a game, but they just could never seem to gett it down to one possession. [player_tooltip player_id="870307" first="Baylin" last="Graf"] was very impressive for Bloomfield in the loss.</p>
<h2>Homestead 55 Lawrence North 46</h2>
<p>In a battle between top-4 2022 prospects, Homestead’s [player_tooltip player_id="1063961" first="Fletcher" last="Loyer"] (Purdue) and Lawrence North’s C.J. Gunn (Indiana). Gunn put on a show early with 17 points in the first half as LN would led 27-22. However, a big third quarter by Homestead gave them the lead which they would never relinquish. C.J. Gunn led the way with 32 points, and [player_tooltip player_id="1063961" first="Fletcher" last="Loyer"] led Homestead with 25 in the win.</p>
<h2>Pike 90 Anderson 79</h2>
<p>In another matchup between top-25 prospects, Pike’s [player_tooltip player_id="870226" first="Ryan" last="Conwell"] took on Anderson’s [player_tooltip player_id="925201" first="Sean" last="Paige"]. This was a high-scoring affair throughout as the two teams would be tied at 37 at the half. In the second-half, Pike’s athleticism and length led to turnovers by Anderson, and they were able to build up a two possession lead that they wouldn’t relinquish. [player_tooltip player_id="870226" first="Ryan" last="Conwell"] led Pike with 30 points, and [player_tooltip player_id="1049176" first="Devon" last="Woods"] added 26 points in the win. Anderson’s Ahmere Carson led with 31 points and Ty Wills added 26 points.</p>
