Region 1

Davis High School (11-0)

Davis is playing on a different level as they have just demolished most teams they have faced. At times they have done it missing some key players. Their starting 5 is just tough as they are led by [player_tooltip player_id="968050" first="Colby" last="Simms"] at PG who has been on a tear this season. [player_tooltip player_id="934473" first="Rex" last="Sunderland"] has been stealing the show with his defense and with Henry Ihrig and [player_tooltip player_id="968066" first="Tate" last="Garff"] and then you add Sawyer Cotrell, this team is simply loaded. Going to take a helluva game to knock them off this year.

Region 2

Kearns High School (9-2)

Kearns has been a surprise team but now that Region play is underway shortly they look to keep that same energy moving forward, The x-factor is going to be Got Daww, because there aren’t many players that have his skill set in Region 2.

Region 3

Bingham High School (9-2)

Bingham always plays a tough schedule and they have had some setbacks as players have not been able to play but they are getting some good production from their bench and role players. Keep an eye on [player_tooltip player_id="1057035" first="Ace" last="Reiser"] as he is really stepping it up on bth ends. [player_tooltip player_id="968084" first="Kam" last="Dupaix"] has been balling-out. [player_tooltip player_id="968083" first="Devin" last="Carlson"] is a sleeper SF that is under-recruited. This team has the pieces to make a deep run.

Region 4

Pleasant Grove High School (10-2)

PG is back despite the loss of a dynamic guard and most of the praise goes to another guard who has taken it to another level in [player_tooltip player_id="1127199" first="McCaden" last="Adams"]. He has been a baller at both ends of the floor. Really like him at the top of the zone and 1-3-1 that they have been playing. He is agile going to the rim and he simply finds ways to score.

Region 5

Bonneville High School (8-0)

One of the most slept on team sin 5A and mainly because they’re doing it by committee. [player_tooltip player_id="1206997" first="Bo" last="Dixon"] and Ky Dixon have been a duo that has played well and they look to keep it rolling.

Region 6

Olympus High School (8-1)

Olympus has one loss and it was a nail-bitter against Davis. [player_tooltip player_id="1057020" first="Jordan" last="Barnes"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1057034" first="Dutch" last="Dowdell"] are arguably the best in the backcourt in the state and they’re only Class of 2024 guards. Then you add the big fella in [player_tooltip player_id="934490" first="Jack" last="Wistrcill"] and there is a team that will be tough to beat.

Region 7

Payson High School (9-0)

Payson is under the radar with their level of play. They start the new year with a 9-0 record and they are led by 6’0 Issac Wolfe a Class of 2023 sleeper with talent from the outside.

Region 8

Orem High School (11-0)

Orem is for real and they have some length at the guard and wing position because they can give teams fits with the way that they switch almost everything. [player_tooltip player_id="1127234" first="Nick" last="Clark"] and [player_tooltip player_id="1127232" first="Dane" last="Christensen"] are good and have next level talent.

Region 9

Springville High School (6-2)

[player_tooltip player_id="1201682" first="Jake" last="Nadauld"] has come onto the scene out of nowhere but he is here and he has Springville playing well. Springville has a shot to end the season on a hot streak and they could be battling for valuable seeding.
