Check out the new PHD Power Rankings! We are officially in 2022 and we are due for updated Power Rankings. Most teams played this past week but some teams had the week off. Read below for info on the rankings and the Top 10 teams.

B Power Rankings

#1 Four Winds/Minnewaukan (3-0)

The Indians had a nice win over Dickinson Trinity on Wednesday at the Dale Brown Classic. They played at the Minot State Dome and 4-Winds won by 20 points. Trinity kept it close for a while but 4-Winds had too much firepower and the pace of the game eventually got the best of them. A few of the top players for the undefeated Indians are [player_tooltip player_id="1046356" first="Jayden" last="Yankton"], [player_tooltip player_id="1144580" first="Deng" last="Deng"], [player_tooltip player_id="1185116" first="Jacolby" last="Pearson"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1144581" first="Dalen" last="Leftbear"]. Coming up this week 4-Winds plays in Devils Lake at the Ramsey County Invitational.

#2 Kindred (4-1)

The Vikings took down Shiloh Christian 52-37 on Saturday in Jamestown at Harold Newman Arena. By holding Shiloh to 37 points the Vikings proved that they are still one of the best defensive teams in Class B North Dakota. [player_tooltip player_id="812227" first="Paul" last="Olson"] is great player for Kindred and a top-notch athlete. [player_tooltip player_id="1123710" first="Jaiden" last="Peraza"] is a strong physical forward that will dunk on you, board up, and play stout defense. [player_tooltip player_id="1123711" first="Max" last="McQuillan"] is a big and skilled guard that is loaded with talent. This week Kindred will be busy. On Tuesday they play at Northern Cass, Friday they host Sargent County, and Saturday they host an undefeated Grafton team.

#3 Enderlin (4-2)

The Eagles picked up two quality wins this week. On Wednesday, Enderlin beat Beulah 53-47 at the Dale Brown Classic. The Eagles did not have their best game, but they found a way to win and beat a Top 10 team. On Thursday, Enderlin picked up another win at the prestigious Hoops City Classic at the palatial Sanford Pentagon. The Eagles showed how good they can be and they rolled to a 71-46 win over a talented Canton squad. [player_tooltip player_id="787658" first="Joe" last="Hurlburt"], [player_tooltip player_id="812220" first="Gus" last="Hurlburt"], [player_tooltip player_id="1050248" first="Carson" last="Bartholomay"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1129974" first="Alijah" last="Dixson"] are the big names for Enderlin. This week, Enderlin plays at Hankinson and at Maple River. The Eagles should pick up two more victories.

#4 North Border (4-0)

The Eagles gathered two more wins this past week to stay perfect on the year. North Border beat West Fargo Horace and Richland at the Hatton-Northwood Christmas Classic. They cruised to double-digit wins in both games and showed their dominance. The top talent for the Eagles: [player_tooltip player_id="1050261" first="TJ" last="Cosley"], [player_tooltip player_id="1126978" first="Ayden" last="Stainbrook"], [player_tooltip player_id="1159584" first="Jaxen" last="Johnson"], [player_tooltip player_id="1126980" first="Kyler" last="Moore"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1165355" first="Grant" last="Cosley"]. North Border has 3 games this week. They host Cavalier on Monday, head to Drayton/Valley-Edinburg on Thursday, and play at Rolla on Saturday. If things go as planned, North Border should pick up three more W’s.

#5 Hillsboro/Central Valley (3-1)

The Burros had a blowout win over Oak Grove this week. HCV won by a score of 66-31. A few of the top players for HCV are [player_tooltip player_id="1130543" first="Gannon" last="Limke"], [player_tooltip player_id="1130544" first="Parker" last="Gallagher"], and [player_tooltip player_id="1144488" first="Jacob" last="Brandt"]. This week HCV hosts two Region-2 games. They play Hatton/Northwood on Tuesday. On Thursday the Burros have a big game against Thompson.

#6 Flasher (7-0)

The Bulldogs flexed their muscles this week and won the Mandan Holiday Tournament. Flasher beat the Bismarck Freshmen 107-78, Mandan Sophomores 69-48, and Glen Ullin-Hebron 54-45. [player_tooltip player_id="1133050" first="Jace" last="Friesz"], [player_tooltip player_id="1354784" first="Carter" last="Bonogofsky"], and Braxton Hatzenbuhler, made the All-Tournament Team. [player_tooltip player_id="1133050" first="Jace" last="Friesz"] was a standout and he put up huge numbers. Tonight the Bulldogs play at Central McLean. On Friday they host Strasburg/Zeeland. I would expect the Bulldogs to pick up a couple more wins.

#7 Dunseith (5-0)

The Dragons did not have a game this week. Tonight Dunseith hosts Bishop Ryan. On Friday, the Dragons travel to St. John.

#8 LaMoure/Litchville-Marion (3-0)

The Loboes had the week off with no games. LaMoure has two games this week. On Friday, the Loboes play at Linton. On Saturday, LLM hosts Richland. It is likely that the Loboes pick up two more W’s with these games

#9 Powers Lake (4-0)

The Ranchers did not have any games this past week. Tonight Powers Lake plays at home vs. White Shield. On Thursday the Ranchers host New Town. Look for Powers Lake to be 6-0 by the end of this week.

#10 Beulah (2-2)

The Miners went 1-1 this past week. Beulah had a comeback OT win over Rugby at the Hoopster Classic at the Minot State Dome. The score of that game was 62-58. In the Dale Brown Classic the next day, the Miners lost to Enderlin in a low-scoring game 53-47. [player_tooltip player_id="812226" first="Trey" last="Brandt"] is the bell cow for the Miners and one of the top players in the State. In the overtime win Beulah had a nice showing from 8th grader Braylen Schirada who knocked down two big FT’s in OT. [player_tooltip player_id="1126983" first="Trapper" last="Skalsky"] was banged up last week for the Miners but should be ready to play this week. On Tuesday, Beulah plays at Des Lacs-Burlington. On Friday the Miners have a big rivalry game at Hazen.
