At 1.7 steals a game, he is top 10 in his position for Class A. Reggie is one of many senior leaders on this Warrior’s squad. After a great week of winning the Metro Holiday Tournament, the Warriors faced Omaha Bryan, and the senior had 8 points on 40 % shooting but was a beast on the defensive end. Ending the night with 4 steals and a number of force turnovers against his opponents. Reggie wasn’t needed much on the offensive side of the ball but made up for it on the other side. The next game the following day they faced Burke where Reggie was able to turn it around offensively. He was able to pour in 19 points on 82% shooting as he was relentless going to the hoop. He also helped on the boards as he snagged in 6 rebounds to go along with the big scoring burst. From seeing a lot of Thomas games in person he’s a well capable defender that can score and takes care of the ball. Colleges should have him on their radar after this week his stock has definitely risen.

[player_tooltip player_id="1235577" first="Jordan" last="Foard"] | 5’11 G | Omaha South/Sal Elite 17U

Not being able to play at the beginning of the season due to personal reasons, the senior showed why he will be a great addition to the Packers the rest of the season after his performance over the weekend. Although the Packers lose both of their games this weekend one of the games was a marathon as it went to 5 overtimes. The Packers have a glimmer of hope from the weekend as the senior had a great outing. In his first game of the season, the senior was able to score 6points in his return to the court. Not a lot of on the scoring end but was able to set up some of his teammates as he dished out 5 assists, but the Packers fell to Prep. The next game was better for the senior as he erupts 30 points in the a 5 overtime burner. Not only did he score but he was able to hand out 5 assists again. Was a close lose to Elkhorn South. The Packers now 4-7 should look to some upside for the rest of the season as the senior returns. As for Foard i asked him how it feel to be back hooping he says "Feel good just wanted put my name out there be the best I can be". With a 30 point burst is definitely a way to get your name out there and help his stock rise.

[player_tooltip player_id="890570" first="Brett" last="Mahony"] | 6’4 F | Kearney Catholic/Lincoln Supreme 17U National 1

The senior has been on a tear on year and proof is in the teams record. Mahhony and the Stars are 11-1 so far this season with only lost to Skutt earlier this season. The senior leader is averaging 17.4 points per game this season and 6 rebounds to go along with it. The Stars and Mahony started off the week with a tough matchup against the undefeated Crusaders. Mahony scored 13 points, hitting a 3 as the Stars was able to come out ahead and secure the win. The senior was able to snag 3 rebounds and snatch 3 steals in the win. The next game was a more easier matchup against North Platte. This time the senior was able to drop 19 points this time with a couple threes. This time was able to get 3 assists with 3 rebounds and 2 steals. The senior has shown he is more than capable of putting the ball in hoop and also able to guard multiple positions. He leading his team to a great season and has the ability to take the further but for now taking down an undefeated team help rise your stock.

[player_tooltip player_id="1235603" first="Ean" last="Luebbe"] | 6’2 G | Columbus/Nebraska Select 17U Nannen

Posting a double-double in both games this week Luebbe has been giving top effort in recent mathups. Discoverers and the senior guard took on Fremont first game of the weak, an equal matchup but didn’t go to their favor. Although wasn’t their night as a team, Luebbe was able to score 21 points, while also pulling down 13 rebounds. The next game was more favor to the Discoverers as it was a rematch against Lincoln High a team they have already beaten earlier this season, Previous matchup the senior guard was able to pour in 20 points, this game was only able to score 11 points. Although wasn’t the same scoring burst as last time these two teams met, the senior was still able to snag 14 rebounds for his consecutive double-double. Averaging 12 point per game this season so far he’s proven he’s a scorer, but haven’t two consecutive games of 10+ rebounds games shows the senior is a hustle player that many college would love to have on their team. Keep attacking the boards will help his stock rise even more.

[player_tooltip player_id="1395060" first="Dylan" last="Casart"] | 6’4 C | Bennignton

Not ranked for his class yet but the big junior definitely will be following this season if not sooner. Already getting looks for some schools because of his size the young player has shown he is very coachable and with that come great potential. The center weighs over 250 pounds and moves very well for his size. A two-sport player he does take basketball as serious as other sport he plays. Getting to see the big guy in person it shows that he has potential to score some points in games as his size makes him a easy target for passes and takes up a lot of space for boards. The Badgers had three games this week playing Ralston first, the sophomore center was able to score 17 points while snagging 8 rebounds. As the Badgers came away with the win, The next game was against a very good Platteview team. Casart a big part in win as he pour in 14 points missing one shot the entire game and grabbing 7 rebounds to go along with his buckets. The big center played a huge part in the win against a team that has been having a good season so far. Last game of the week was against Blair another tough opponent for the Badgers. In this game the center was able score in double digits again for third straight game as he scored 10 points with 4 rebounds. As the season go on the game with slow down for the sophomore and he will find his spots as he plays along a couple senior guards who trust him already. Expect the center to rank by end of season if keeps scoring the way he does and adding more to that rebounding category. With all those factors he’s definitely doing enough to raise his stock.

[player_tooltip player_id="1371636" first="Malachi" last="Washington"] | 6’5 F | Boys Town Highschool

Not ranked at the moment but the junior is definitely having a season that will have him moving high up the ranks. The Cowboys hasn’t had the best season so far but has come close in a few games this year losing a few by less than 4 points. One reason they have been in those games and in some pulled away for the win was due to much efforts from their junior forward, Malachi. The junior forward is averaging 19 points and 14 rebounds this season and one few if not only that has a double-double in each of his games this season. Only know one speed, the forward gets the ball while also putting up buckets. First game of the week for the Cowboys against the Cavailers the junior helped lead his team to a close win. Scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds, the big night was too much for his opponents. The next night was close game that didn’t go their way as the Cowboys loss to Elkhorn. Malachi did put in effort as he scored 16 points on 40% shooting, hitting a couple threes and grabbing 10 rebounds. The junior should be on everybody radar having the start to the season he has if he keeps up the same numbers he is on pace to be in the top mentions of best of Class 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id="1164531" first="Dane" last="Petersen"] | 6’5 F | Elkhorn South/OSA 17U National Freeman

I know watch the high flying forward over the summer and knew he was going to have a good season. He hasn’t disappointed averaging 13.0 points and 9.1 rebounds this season, the forward has his Antlers in a good spot this season. Since last loss in Decemeber the senior and his Antlers are hasn’t loss since going 3-0 to start the New Year. The first matchup was against a good team, the Knights. Dane lead both teams with 14 points and also with 8 rebounds. The senior dominated in the game as the Antlers came away with a win. The next game against Platteview also a win, but not as well of a scoring night for the senior as he only scored 6 points. Didnt need his scoring, the Antlers relied on his rebounds and defense as he pulled down 12 rebounds and swatted shots for 3 blocks to help his squad get the win. Against a thought Boys Town Team Dane was able to go off for 26 points and help his Antlers get their third win in a row. What i see from Dane from this summer is what I’m seeing from his season a athletic forward who can put the ball in the hoop and rim protect with the best of them. His stock is definitely rising going along this season and definietly a name to remember.

[player_tooltip player_id="1018811" first="Brody" last="Travis"] | 6’1 G | DC West/ OSA 17U National Burt

The Senior Gaurd has been lighting it up this season and leading his squad to a great season so far. The sharp shooter is averaging 16.7 points this season shooting over 50%. This week Brody continue his tear as he and the Falcons storm thru the competition winning all three of their games. First game against Brody help his team with 16 points as he and couple other teammates goes off for 15+points. Brody shot 63% from the field with 3 threes and 4 assists. Against the Lakeview, the senior really erupted as he lead all scorers 28 points hitting 5 threes in routed win. The final game of the weekend versus the Warriors was more of a defensive game for both sides as the senior guard shooting 33% scored only 12 points. Brody and the Falcons still was able to grind out the win regardless of an off night. Bounce back is inevitable for the senior guard as he goes thru the rest of the season. His scoring is still going to be there as the he works on consistency moving forward through the season. The big scoring outburst is what a lot of colleges should be looking for their team and with many more of those his stock will definitely rise.

[player_tooltip player_id="890594" first="Quinn" last="Johnson"] | 6’2 G | Loomis /Lincoln Supreme 17U National 2

Already a couple 30 points games under his belt this season it was only a matter of time before he made this list of stock risers for his scoring out burst. The Wolves are doing great riding they automatic bucket shooting guard, as he and his squad took down a couple of teams this week. The senior guard is averaging 22.2 points hitting 40% of his threes and grabbing 10.5 rebound per game to go along with his scoring. Leading the team in scoring and rebounding the senior and his Wolves faced of against the Buffalos in their first game this New Year. Quinn lead all scorers with 17 points while hitting a couple threes and snagging 7 rebounds. The next game against Arapahoe the scoring guard lights up the competition for 25 points on 54% shooting. Sniping in 3 threes and 8 rebounds, the Wovles and Quinn were able to finish of the week with two wins after a long lay off between games. Quinn been a scorer his whole career at Loomis, averaging 18.0 points for his career it is proven that the senior is and always been a walking bucket. His final year he’s been putting on a show and win continue for the rest of the season, so coach so be on the look out.
