The month of January has been somewhat of a quiet month recruitment wise so far but there has been several players to pick up offers and make college decisions. Let’s take a look at a few of those players and prospects.

Lake Norman Christian Forward [player_tooltip player_id="1063201" first="Tyrone" last="Barbee"] will be returning to the east side of the state to play college ball! Barbee recently committed to The University of Mount Olive after several solid showings in December. He’s played the stretch forward spot for his team, using his skills and wingspan to make plays.

WCD Junior Wing [player_tooltip player_id="848089" first="Collin" last="Tanner"] has been on a mission this season, playing the game at a high level and D1 programs have taken notice. One of the most recent schools to extend an offer is High Point University. Tanner has the size, skills and athleticism that you love to see from a wing prospect, and he will be a big part of his team making a state championship run.

Cleveland HS Senior PG [player_tooltip player_id="1253927" first="Baron" last="Williams"] is a player that we were impressed with during the 252/919 classic, and it seems as if several colleges were impressed as well. Recently he picked up an offer from Johnston CC and we believe he will continue to see his stock rise with consistent production.

Page HS Senior Wing Josh Scovens is off the recruiting boards as he recently made a commitment to attend Army! The 6’6 future Knight has been outstanding this season, averaging twenty points per contest for his squad.

Millbrook HS Freshman Forward [player_tooltip player_id="1272558" first="Colt" last="Langdon"] has quite a bit of buzz to his name already and this month he picked up his first D1 offer from Radford University. His size and potential make him a no-brainer prospect to have on your list.

Bullcity Prep Senior Guard Shawn Wilson recently picked up another CIAA offer from WSSU after already holding offers from SAU and LU. He’s a gifted player that can be outstanding on both ends of the floor and has been very valuable for his squad that plays a very tough schedule.

Ravenscroft School Junior Guard [player_tooltip player_id="577843" first="Comeh" last="Emuobor"] recently took an unofficial visit to VT and is a prospect that has quite a few programs showing high interest and extending offers. He’s a strong Guard that can make a nice impact with his scoring and rebounding ability.
